This is going to be the least exciting domestic treble ever. No-one really cares about Manchester City, they are a nothing club. All the media are gearing up for the European Cup finals. Someone's salty You're not wrong though especially about the last part but then having 2 English teams in a European final is extremely rare & it's a lot harder to call than yesterday's procession. |

What Dobbo said is true that 2013/14 was better even with it being the same two teams at the top as they were a lot of twists and turns throughout that season. When it comes to this season both Manchester City and Liverpool winning every week can't be considered as great unless you are a fan of one of those two clubs, those two making the Premier League look like a farmers league is just embarrassing for everyone else really.
With regards to the two domestic cup competitions the FA practically polished and gift wrapped the trophies to Manchester City when you look at the routes to both finals. The only thing that objectively can't be argued is that it is a great achievement for both European finals to feature all English teams. Manchester City 2-1 Liverpool Manchester City Vs Tottenham Champions League Quarter Final 2nd leg Liverpool Vs Barcelona Champions League semi final 2nd leg Ajax Vs Tottenham Champions League semi final 2nd leg ^ These are the only amazing, edge of your seat matches that have involved English teams this season so far, I expect both of the European finals to be dramatic as well but at the moment I can only count on one hand how many truly exciting matches have happened. I would have included PSG Vs Man United in Paris but really it was only the last minute that was truly gripping. |

You can't really say the FA handed the cups to City though, that is t fair. It's a cup so it's the luck of the draw(they surprisingly got beat by Wigan last season remember). I certainly wouldn't say you would think that back in the day when United got favourable draws.
City have been unreal this season and last which a lot of hard work goes into achieving no matter who you play so it's up to the rest to live with that and challenge like Liverpool tried to do this year. This post has been edited by Steve201: 19th May 2019, 01:04 PM |

Oh definitely salty from me, but true. No-ones talking about Manchester City because they don’t sell papers of her clicks. No matter how good or bad Liverpool or Manchester United are, they’ll always be different in that regard. Just makes me laugh how City think they are so entitled! |

Did anyone see the video on twitter of the city fan bursting into the press box at Wembley yday complaining of their coverage of Liverpool and Salah? Yes and it was embarrassing Liverpool and Manchester United sell papers and get clicks, Manchester City don't. The domestic treble is an amazing treble but it's quite right that if Liverpool and Manchester United did it, it would be in the news more. According to Manchester City though they're the 'biggest club in the world' thanks to their phony sponsorship deals. I'm pretty sure Salah has been in the papers this year for bad things rather than good things! |
