Fledgling Sugababe Amelle Berrabah has expressed her disappointment at learning that her vocals will only appear on a handful of songs on the group's up and coming Greatest Hits album.
Berrabah joined the Sugababes last year following the shock departure of Mutya Buena And now she has learnt that it is illegal to re-record the vocals to the songs on the bands latest LP. Despite this, Berrabah has eased her upset by helping to write three or four new tracks which will appear on the LP. The stunning singer revealed: "I didn't realise but it's illegal to re-record over Mutya if the song has already been released. "I was really disappointed as obviously I wanted to sing everything on the greatest hits. "There'll be three or four new tracks which I've helped to write, so I'm pleased about that." Published: Saturday 13th May 2006 3 or 4 new tracks but with 16 singles that must mean they are cutting some singles my money would be on: new year soul sound and possibly that's all!!!!!!! but what if they scrap all of the "one touch" singles This post has been edited by blade699: 23rd May 2006, 07:30 PM |

Why should Amelle re-record all of Mutya's vocals? They were hits because they had Mutya's vocals on them, not Amelle's People who buy the GH should have the original single versions.
And they better not cut out anything from Freak Like Me afterwards I will NOT be amused I would rather have no new songs. |

That makes sense As long as the number ones and Red Dress are on there I don't mind really.
