This is much better than Don’t Say Love, it has much more personality and is more of a statement as to who she may be as an artist.
If there’s no active plans for any album, I’ll place my bets now that Don’t Say Love won’t be on it if/when it eventually comes. |

This song is absolutely incredible!!! Leigh did what she needed to do. The production on this track is the highlight here for me, it’s so fresh and full of energy. I have a feeling that the video is going to elevate the song even more.

This is SO much better than Don't Say Love omg, what a bop! I'm still dubious about its overall success but I hope it can be a bit for her! Ayra sounds amazing on it as well.

Much better than don’t say love, such a bop and so instantly catchy! Hope it can do well next week, fingers crossed streaming holds up so that +cds (which have now shipped) can get it to the top 10

I definitely think this is stronger than ‘Don’t Say Love’ but I am not sure it’s the smash people are claiming.
I think the afrobeats vibe and Ayra Starr absolutely make this song. Ayra’s verse is so dynamic and full of hidden melodies that really elevate the second part of this song. I think it suffers from not having enough of these same dynamic melodies included elsewhere in the song. I had the same problem with ‘Don’t Say Love’. The garage vibe and the instrumental were fantastic but it wasn’t a massive earworm… the chorus seemed underwritten to me. I sadly think the chorus of this has the same problem - sure repeating ‘My Love’ is catchy, but are there any more melodies and hidden hooks to reveal themselves on further listens? I managed to get a listen in whilst at work at 8pm-ish. It's been stuck in my head ever since! SOOOO good. I am unsure as to whether it will be a hit or not, but I really hope it can be one! It deserves to be.
 Instant Hot Hits support and a top 3 placing on NMF is great news. Just need it to stick and actually help out! |
