Oh my! I thought Made Of Love was Spadam as he said he sent 'one of his favourite producers' and Ferry Corsten is the best known single producer in this contest I would say.

Hope Made Of Love gets good points though, it doesn't deserve to be bottom as it is currently imo.

Quite a decent ATB track that, I was looking into that album a bit more & he said himself the album was "very much unlike the singles" but that particular track was very much reminiscent of the wobbly synths of 9PM & Don't Stop.

Pretty sure Do You See the Light? was sent by awardinary or lewistgreen who iirc were on the plug sesh just before the contest when I played it! Although maybe it being sent is unconnected with that.

Yeah I'm doing pretty poorly so far as I expected haha, it's fine though, I was fairly set on finding a psytrance entry for this and I settled on this one fairly quickly without spending too much time looking, it reminded me a lot of 'Muck' which I sent to Worldvision! (And that actually did really well lol but I could tell this one wasn't appealing as much based on Dan not really feeling it on plug when he was one of the few who gave top marks to 'Muck' )

Whoops at me not voting for Jade this time, hey at least this proves that we are playing fairly Lange was 11th in my ranking though so still a good entry.

'Made Of Love' was definitely one of the ones that stood out the least to me I'm afraid oops but nothing in this deserves to get 0 points so I hope it does get off the mark soon ;o

The original version of Ghosts was by Japan in 1982. I didn't know there was a trance version. Neither do the compilers of the Book Of Hit Singles as they are showing them as two different songs in their song title index.

If Snake ends up winning this then I think we all know what the theme of the 2nd contest is gonna be

'Raves Like This' was definitely one of the massive highlights as well (hooray for the top 2 looking like being my top 2) - although it barely counts as trance, so I guess of course it would turn out to be Snake with his notoriously questionable ideas of genres.

Warsaw was very close to getting points from my rate iirc, sorry Dobbo!

After a few minutes in it becomes trance though I think . 'Do You See the Light?' I would call trouse not trance (the beat is quite housey) plus Harry's entry has a kind of big room type drop. All trancey enough though I think though.

Omg I am so happy with 4th as a debut in this my peaks are now 1st for Nuggets/BJSC spinoffs, 2nd for main BJSC, 3rd for Pop Forum Song Contest and now 4th for Dance Forum Song Contest that joining up! That's such a fantastic top 3 there, my 12, 10 and 7 in that order! Shame Plastic Boy wasn't a bit higher as well as those were the 4 main huge standouts for me but still a great result. We'll not speak of where my own entry finished I had low expectations so no worries, glad that a few people liked it anyway! I'll do better next time... maybe.

To think this was just a song I heard the radio edit for while randomly skimming thru some Spotify dance playlist earlier this year & pencilled it in for a potential contest entry. I only heard the full version when deciding what to reconfirm (yep this wasn't my original submission ) and it was an incredible listen. Glad it picked up so many strong fans!

Well done Dobbo! Very good entry. I am still wondering what the theme will be for the next contest, I don't know what your favourite dance subgenre apart from trance is Dobbo!

Many thanks everyone who voted for 'Raves Like This' it really is a very unique track I found on beatport recently and thought it may do better in this than BJSC, although wasn't expecting it to be top 2 in this when I saw that two tunes I knew 'Do You See the Light' and the sadly flopped 'Infected' were in it!

Thanks for hosting Addy, this was a great contest, especially as it had one of my favourite dance genres as its theme.

I could have been more inspired in terms of artist but this seemed like a good opportunity to share a former personal chart #1 of mine! Then again nearly every song on ATB's Movin' Melodies went top three on my chart, absolutely adore it.

Warsaw is such a good winner, easily the best discovery here for me.

Sorry guys, i had to abruptly leave after results because my friends showed up lol but I managed to finish everything on time.

Big congrats to Dobbo, very well deserved winner...as of my entry I actually don't mind finishing last...for me it was all about the first contest to be successful and I consider it as one.
