Good to see supervova at least picked up some votes, i do love this is it myself but cannot see it doing well in something like AF Idol, on a night like this is usually very popular.

We came 9th with On a Night Like This. Happy to have finished outside the bottom 3 as I wasn’t expecting us to place very high among so many well loved hits (I think only Love at First Sight or All the Lovers would have seen us finish Top 5, a shame we couldn’t use the latter due to a live version being automatically sent in the first round).

We find out tomorrow where we place overall in the competition.

A very shaky start for the Kylie AF as it fell victim to the random song generator in Round 1 - if only it was the studio version of 'All the Lovers'! Thankfully things turned around nicely in Round 4 when 'Slow', perhaps surprisingly, gave the AF its best performer! 'Love At First Sight' gave the forum another #2 position after we ever so narrowly made it into the second half of the competition. I'd have liked to have given 'Impossible Princess' some representation, perhaps in Round 2 album track round, however my main concern was to make up for our poor start and I'm unsure how this experimental era of Kylie music would have fared.

I'm pleased with how we did, especially getting two songs that finished second place in their respective rounds! A shame about Round 1 - now, if that was the studio version of 'All the Lovers', I think it would have smashed and it would have been interesting to see how much higher we could have placed in the competition.
