BuzzJack Platinum Member Joined: 7 February 2013 Posts: 11,975 User: 18,293	North American Qualification The North American Qualification will consist of 3 stages. 3 teams will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2 teams will qualify for the Intercontinental Play-Offs. As hosts, United States of America, Mexico and Canada have already qualified. Round 1 - The 4 lowest ranked teams will be drawn into two 2-legged ties with the winners qualifying for Round 2. Matches will be played in March 2024. Round 2 - The 30 teams (28 highest ranked teams and the 2 winners from Round 1) will be drawn into 6 groups of 5 teams and will play single round robin fixtures. The 5 group winners and 5 group runners-up will qualify for Round 3. Matches will be played between June 2024 and June 2025. Round 3 - The 12 qualifiers from Round 2 will be drawn into 3 groups of 4 teams and will play home-and-away round-robin fixtures. The 3 group winners will qualify directly to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The two best group runners-up will qualify for the Intercontinental Play-Offs. Matches will be played between September - November 2025.

The 3 is in addition to the auto-qualified hosts so there’s a decent chance of a Caribbean qualifier. If we go by the Current World Rankings it would be Costa Rica, Panama & Jamaica taking up the 3 qualifying spots with El Salvador and Honduras in the Play-Offs

Anguilla - Turks and Caicos Islands U.S. Virgin Islands - British Virgin Islands The matches will be played in March before Round 2 begins in June.

Group A Honduras Antigua and Barbuda Cuba Bermuda Cayman Islands Group B Costa Rica Trinidad and Tobago Saint Kitts and Nevis Grenada Bahamas Group C Haiti Curaçao Saint Lucia Barbados Aruba Group D Panama Nicaragua Guyana Montserrat Belize Group E Jamaica Guatemala Dominican Republic Dominica Winner Play-Off 2 (British Virgin Islands/U.S. Virgin Islands) Group F El Salvador Suriname Puerto Rico Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Winner Play-Off 1 (Turks and Caicos Islands/Anguilla)

BVI were saved by a stoppage time equalizer.
