Is under way, production is set to start on what’s being described as the seventh film in the X-Men series in May 2017, with new characters, its based on the comic book of the same name, to be directed by Josh Boone.

I enjoyed 'Apocalypse'. It had some really cool moments. The character "Apocalypse" looked beyond dire, but everything else was pleasantly surprising for me.

I liked the newer trilogy a lot more than the original trilogy (I'm assuming that ain't going to be a popular opinion lol). But I'm excited about this. I think a refresh could help it, especially with all new characters. Hopefully they can tie in the TV show 'Legion' (which stars Dan Stevens) somehow!

Just a oversight, nothing minor, I just wish new threads weren't posted that early though, the film is not actually being filmed yet, and you just end up trolling through the forum trying to find the topic, when the time comes to the actual release date.

Judging by the new trailer it looks good, my only problem with it is Maisie Williams playing Wolfsbane, I'm just not sure if she can cut it. Just have to wait and see I suppose

It does look very dark and creepy, very jumpy in places.

I'm dead surprised at how horror they've gone with it, the trailer wasn't amazing, kinda just looked like a generic B-list horror trailer with loads of jump scares BUT I'm kinda hoping that was on purpose to get across the idea that this is gonna be different to the other films. I think it could be great, especially as all the X-Men stuff so far that's been different (Logan and Legion for example) has been outstanding, so I'm really hyped for this!!

WTAF they have totally f***ed up what the New Mutants are meant to be. FFS sad.gif If Marvel wanted to make a dark Superherp movie then why not use a comic that is actually dark?

Apparently they've pushed it back to "beef up the scares". Annoying tbh. It looked perfectly fine from the trailer! sad.gif

This looks really good, I am so annoyed that it has been pushed back as the trailer looks really good and it is a different direction for a mutant movie so I was looking forward to it.
