At the moment I'd go for duet predictions as:

Matt: Louisa Johnson
Saara: Nicole Scherzinger
5AM: Fleur East

I know Nicole is Matt's mentor, but that is the type of bizarre thing X Factor would do and they can always use the wildcard aspect to explain it.

And for song of the series, assuming they making it to the Sunday:

Matt: Writing's On The Wall
Saara: The Winner Takes It All
5AM: Try A Little Tenderness

Nevertheless, one rumour I've seen on multiple sites now is Saara with Adam Lambert singing "Who Wants to Live Forever". Adam isn't a big name but I always feel like he's appreciated by the general public as a performer when he appears on TV - his performance on X Factor a couple of years ago got rave reviews I believe - and that would be quite the duet!

Saara and Adam tweeted each other a few weeks back, and Saara said Sharon is organising a big surprise for her for the weekend. Adam seems like the sort of contact Sharon would have, not that I believe Sharon cares if Saara duets with Adam Lambert or Abi Alton.

The Sun are "confirming" the duets are:

Matt and James Arthur (although James was originally lined up for Emily)
Saara and Adam Lambert
5AM and The Weeknd

With Sam Smith and Little Mix performing as guests only.

The Weeknd is the wow name but Saara and Adam are such a perfect match, if Who Wants to Live Forever is true then that is the only potential Alexandra/Beyoncé of the three I believe. James and The Weeknd are more chart relevant but are less "all-out performance" as the X Factor audience would love.

The Weeknd was kinda expected as he's been in France for the last week.

Sam Smith?! As soon as I saw his name I was like "Yep, he is performing Writings on The Wall with Matt", but now I see James Arthur is performing with Matt.

I thought Weeknd might perform, but performing with a contestant feels very off brand for him!

Adam is a great choice for Saara, he's never really had a hit in the UK but he's still a well known name and huge talent.
