 Pride is upon us! This year has been a rough year for the LGBTQIA+, particularly for the transgender people. We had several states in the US banning them from partaking in sports competitions, and in the UK the conversion therapy ban was reversed on transgender people. Then, you also have the "Don't Say Gay" bill in Florida, which is pretty grim and we all saw the effects with a high school graduate using "curly hair" to replace "gay" in his speech. These examples still remind us that there is still a long way to go for LGBTQIA+ rights and that Pride Month is still a very important month not only just to celebrate our real self but also to fight for our rights, as it was for the Stonewall Protests. With the grim stuff swept aside, let's celebrate Pride Month with some great songs! Ever since I successfully hosted PFSC IX: Celebrating Pride a year ago, I now revive Pride spin-off in BJSC with blessing from our amazing founder Linds! Obviously, this is your chance to enter LGBTQIA+ artists that have impacted you with the rest of the community and get everyone into the Pride spirit!  o You must submit a song that's either by an LGBTQ+ artist and/or is lyrically about an LBGTQ+ topic o The song cannot be by an artist with their own forum on Buzzjack o Your song can't have been sent to a previous spin-off, main contest or PFSC IX o Your song must not have reached the top 100 in the UK chart. o We won't allow multiple songs by the same artist o Your song also can't have notable Buzzjack prominence etc. o Do not tell anyone what entry you have sent!  Click the pic above to confirm! Submission deadline: Wednesday, 15 June 2022, 23:59 BST (GMT+1) Hopefully there is enough time to submit entries while BJSC 145 is going on! I have included a section where you put your username in the form so that I can PM you easily when there is a veto or problem with votes, or any reminders. There will also be a recap video provided during voting!  As always I couldn't recommend this playlist highly enough for their weekly source of newly released gems! I have a possible artist in mind for this but it's dependent on if they have any songs of their own actually worth sending, need to dig into their discography a bit. Yayyy! Been looking forward to this
 I have an entry I'm gonna send as a sort of placeholder just now, it's been a bjsc potential, it was my backup for pfsc but it is v fitting for this so I may just stick with it bc it is a bop. There is always the chance I find something I like more as I've been sitting on this song for months but we'll see I suppose!
