New single from Craig, said to be going back to his 'garage' roots on this follow up to 'When You Know What Love Is', out later tonight. First play on BBC 1Xtra at 6pm with MistaJam, video premieres on his VEVO next Wednesday: This post has been edited by ThePensmith: Sep 9 2019, 06:43 PM |

Yeah it samples something... is it One Last Time by Ariana?
On listening to OLT, maybe not... but I recognise the music from somewhere This post has been edited by ElectroBoy: Aug 23 2019, 07:03 AM |

This chorus sounds like the intro to Chris Browns Yeah 3x with a bit of One Last Time mixed in.

It does sound a bit like the intro to Yeah 3X and also JLS’ She’s Makes Me Wanna

It also sounds exactly like Cobra Starship - You Make Me Feel...

Hope this can become a hit for him, seems to have faded to radio 2 again!

Just listened to that it’s just about an exact copy of She Makes Me Wanna with different lyrics or it could be the other way I’m not sure what was released first. You Make Me Feel... was literally released 2 months before. Weirdly it was produced and written by Ina Wroldsen and Steve Mac but the latter was produced by someone else, even though Ina and Steve were pretty big JLS collaborators. Strange. Who has the credit for this version? |

This melody is used in a lot of songs - the first one to come to mind was Calvin Harris' 'I'm Not Alone', surprised no one has mentioned that in this thread considering 'Yeah 3X' was literally accused of plagiarising that leading to Calvin having a writing credit on it
Liking this song, muuuuuch better than his last single! Idk if Craig might now be once again past being able to get hit singles ('When You Know What Love Is' only even made the top 100 because of Love Island) but I hope this can do at least something, we need more garage hits so the sound might actually stick around rather than 'Ladbroke Grove' just being a one off hit (like 'When The Bassline Drops'). |

It did well on iTunes but I didn't see it on any playlists and it was barely in the top 200 on Spotify. Reall weird considering he's had a string of hit singles since early 2016 and the last one being a #5, Platinum hit only last year? |

Craig has announced a big old arena tour for next April this morning. Tickets on sale Friday at 10am, it's called the 'Hold That Thought' tour and will also mark 20 years (20 YEARS?!) since 'Born To Do It' was released:
