This was released as a single from Ari's second album My Everything which continued to avoid any kind of sophomore slump. She teamed up with Russian-German producer Zedd, who had been making waves with his huge Foxes collaboration 'Clarity', plus he'd also worked with Paramore's Hayley Williams on 'Stay The Night'. This direction was far more dance-orientated than lead single 'Problem' but the public was still here for it, as 'Break Free' charted as high as #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
