There's at least 3 hip-hop songs entering the chart today so those should get a play (well, maybe not 'Home P*ssy' if there's no suitable version for it)

American Idiot is fantastic, I have the album on vinyl!
There are always a lot of random urban track in the top 40 these days with sort enogh chart runs simply because of streaming and the people that stream! It's huge at the moment I guess. I only like certain artists like Stormzy/Dave/Skepta. |

Bugzy Malone featuring Aitch Kilos 2nd single from second studio album Released: 21st June 2019 Label: B. Somebody Chart Statistics NE (04/07/2019) | 20-30-40 Sales: 30k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 62 Sales 29 Audio Streaming 04 Video Streaming Video Biography Manchester-based MC Bugzy Malone exploded on the indie grime scene in 2015, racking up 18 million views plus a MOBO nomination that year for Best New Artist. He made his debut in 2010 with the Swaggaman mixtape, and Why So Serious followed in 2011, while Lost in Meanwhile City dropped in 2012. His "0161 Manny on the Map" T-shirts began to be spotted in 2014, a ramp-up year that featured the release of The Journal of an Evil Genius, a mixtape supported by six straight weeks of new video uploads. His 2015 appearance on BBC Radio 1Xtra's freestyle show Fire in the Booth received millions of views within the month it was uploaded; then the Stereotyped mixtape landed before the official release Walk with Me appeared on the Grimey Limey label. The debut EP climbed into the Top Ten of the U.K. albums chart. Malone saw more success with his subsequent EPs; 2016's Facing Time once again dominated the U.K. Top Ten upon its release. That same year, Bugzy put out a trilogy of music videos entitled Section 8(1), with each video intended to accompany one of three singles from the Facing Time EP: the title track, "Beauty and the Beast," and "I Suggest." The young MC's success became the ultimate catalyst for his burgeoning workflow, and his prolific output produced another release not long afterward with 2017's King of the North EP. The effort featured U.K. 2-step garage duo DJ Luck and MC Neat. The following year, Malone returned with his proper debut album, B. Inspired. Released on his own label, the album saw him working with the likes of producers Zdot and Diztortion on the tracks "Warning" and "Drama." - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Bugzy Malone 2017 99 Bruce Wayne -IG- 2017 65 Memory Lane (feat. A very aesthetic chart run there
Bugzy's most generic song to date so obviously it's his highest peaking. |

NSG OT Bop Non-album single Released: 23rd May 2019 Label: NSG Entertainment Chart Statistics NE (06/06/2019) | 17-26-32-30-35-38-39 Sales: 90k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 77 Sales 15 Audio Streaming 11 Video Streaming Video Biography Less than a year ago back in June 2017, a little-known 6-part group from Hackney in London, released their melodic Yo Darlin' featuring Geko. It was a hit, captivating the scene and homogenising a genre-blending era into a worldwide vibe. However, what was seemingly like instant overnight success to some, was in fact, a much more complex by-product of over 4 years of musical exertion, cultural fusion, and eventually, a blooming sound. Now, in 2018, the chart-infiltrating NSG are back, pushing up their game and timing their break out. - Spotify Top 100 Chart History 2018 56 6:30 (Geko feat. NSG) 2019 07 Options (feat. Growing up, Dave was inspired to pursue art in some form. Taking cues from his older brothers, he initially tried his hand at animation before moving on to piano before finally settling on becoming a fully-fledged grime MC; unfortunately, his brothers would end up serving lengthy prison sentences. To cope with the drastic alteration to their lives, Dave burrowed even deeper into his music, causing him to develop a socially aware form of wordplay that set him apart from his peers. Despite starting to write bars around the age of ten, it was six years later that Dave would make his first appearance, freestyling on an underground grime channel, Bl@ckbox, in 2015. In January of the following year Dave returned with his first music video/single "JKYL+HYD," cementing his reputation for deep subject matter and ambitious lyrics. In the following months, Dave delivered two key freestyles on BBC Radio 1. The first was on Semtex's 1Xtra show and the second on Charlie Sloth's Fire in the Booth. A number of singles followed, including a standout collaboration with West London's own rising star, AJ Tracey, on "Thiago Silva." By September Dave was ready to drop his first EP, Six Paths. The release was a success in its own right, but gained even more attention when Canadian rapper Drake remixed the single "Wanna Know," bringing Dave's sound to an American audience. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Dave 2017 51 Wanna Know (feat. Lizzo Truth Hurts 2nd single from Cuz I Love You Released: 19th September 2017 Label: Nice Life Recording Company Chart Statistics NE (09/05/2019) | 67-59-53-53-52-53-60-64-60-42-37 Sales: 100k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 54 Sales 67 Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video Biography Coming on smart, sassy, and strong, like an indie Missy Elliot, Minneapolis rapper and singer Lizzo arrived in the Twin Cities with a hard sound and stance, thanks to her Texas roots and time learning the ropes with crews like Atlanta's Crime Mob. Born Melissa Jefferson in Houston and raised in Detroit, Lizzo earned her moniker when she joined the uniformly named members -- Lexo, Nino, and Zeo -- of the Cornroll Clique. A 2011 move to Minneapolis found her fronting Lizzo & the Larva Ink while joining the neo-TLC-type group the Chalice. Her work began to intertwine with the city's indie scene, which included artists like Gayngs, Doomtree, Marijuana Deathsquads, and Har Mar Superstar; listening to a copy of Doomtree producer Lazerbreak's album Lava Breaks brought her out of a long case of writer's block. Inspired by Lazerbreak's work, she recorded the album Lizzobangers with the producer plus Gayngs member Ryan Olson. The album was released in 2013 on the Totally Gross National Product label. After making guest appearances on tracks by Prince & 3rdEyeGirl ("Boytrouble"), Clean Bandit ("New Eyes"), Bastille ("Torn Apart"), and Sean Anonymous & DJ Name ("Cold Shoulder"), Lizzo released her second full-length album, 2015's Big GRRRL Small World, on her own BGSW label. In October 2016, Lizzo made her major-label debut with the EP Coconut Oil, which was released by Atlantic's Nice Life imprint. The following year saw her drop the singles "Water Me" and "Truth Hurts," with "Fitness" and "Boys" arriving the following year. In February 2019, Lizzo issued the title track from her full-length Cuz I Love You, whcih arrived later that April. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2019 38 Juice -1- 2019 37 Truth Hurts -2- 2019 70 Blame It On Your Love (Charli XCX feat.
