They are getting roasted on Spice Circle... I think the fans have had enough of so little care from the girls...

Also, Ive seen that they haven't really sold that much merch recently as nothing other than a few key items (Rubix Cube, Christmas Globe, ect) as really sold out. On USA website they still even have the individual Spice25 vinyls and merch widely available sleep.gif

It's not really looking great, is it?.... Time to really do something girls...

The US store was fully restocked very recently, it even has the Wannabe cassette back in stock that was like gold dust to get even on pre-order.

The individual vinyls were sold out for sure too as someone on Spice circle was pleased they were back in stock to complete their set of them.

The UK store has the bare bones left, so it is an intetesting move to fully stock the US store again but not the UK.

The group did the bare minimum for the 25th anniversary. They couldn't even bother having a track by track audio commentary. They really are lucky their reunion tours still have massive appeal to the general public. Othetwise, they wouldn't be able to get away with their lackluster releases and merch.

It still gags me that they couldnt get together to do something for it, even a photo together or whatever, but they did that awful CoinMaster advert during it blink.gif What a way to tarnish your legacy, jesus...

ONLY Mel C did promo for it. Only her. The others basically just did some a couple of social media posts and called it quits. Pretty awful. It's baffling, but they havent done a thing together that doesnt have millions guaranteed in decades.

They are pretty lucky indeed, and very spoiled.

I'm curious what is their goal of doing another documentary. The 2007 documentary was a companion piece with the 2007 tour and greatest hits. Would be a shame not to release a new compilation album alongside a Netflix distributed documentary.

Totally agree, or at least a re-packaged version of the Greatest Hits wub.gif

Knowing them though, it will probably be a re-release of the original Greatest Hits with no new added features other than a hype sticker teresa.gif

I’d rather a repackaged version of the original greatest hits so sales don’t start from scratch.

They could certainly fit a few bonuses ion there and fill it up to 20 tracks.

For me the documentary would be the moment to open up the vaults. It is bound to show clips of 'were gonna make it happen' and a few others, they can easily include W.O.M.A.N too. Slap them on a cd called 'Spice Girls rarities 1994-2024' and record 1 or 2 new songs. Make 15 different formats and you easily have a number 1 UK album if released with the documentary.

They can include some GH cast offs, Forever, touch/pre-Spice stuff, Song for her. Just have music spanning the whole 30 years.

I love your sense of ambition though sadly most of that - if any of it - will happen. We're talking about the Spice Girls here. They won't do a couple of new tracks, if anything they might add just some rare tracks to the already existing Greatest Hits.

if they do that and re-release it with a few editions, it might go Top5 again and I consider that a win win teresa.gif

There's no way the group is going to release Touch era tracks. They have no writing credits on those songs so they won't make any royalties from them. Releasing Song For Her is never going to happen. More then likely we would get a new greatest hits with a few unreleased songs.

Releasing a new greatest hits alongside a documentary would allow them to highlight a few non single tracks as well as a few outtakes that die hard and casual fans would enjoy. This would be my track list for a new GH.

1. Wannabe
2. Say You'll Be There
3. 2 Become 1 (Single Version)
4. Mama (Radio Edit)
5. Who Do You Think You Are
6. Step To Me
7. Spice Up Your Life
8. Too Much (Radio Edit)
9. Stop
10. Viva Forever (Radio Edit)
11. Never Give Up On The Good Times
12. Goodbye
13. Holler
14. Let Love Lead The Way (Radio Edit)
15. If You Wanna Have Some Fun (Radio Edit)
16. W.O.M.A.N.
17. Go Go Go
18. Spice Is Back

I agree with this then there is no pressure re chart positions either. If it happened to outpeak it's original #2 even better laugh.gif

You forgot Move Over and Headlines. Move Over is far too iconic and well known for it to be left out, and it was kind of a single release with Pepsi too.
Headlines was a single, so it could be burried in there as well teresa.gif

Never Give Up and If You Wanna Have Some Fun are MUSTS for any re-release of the GH, for sure. Let's see.

Having pre-Spice songs added would feed the 30 years narrative. With a new song and Song for her they can have 94-2000, 2007, 2016, 2024 heck they could throw in the Holler remix for 2019 too. All different line ups but showing different stages of the Spice Girls over 30 years.

There for me is no point in touching the current GH, adding anything to it would just be taking away from it being a GH. They can throw out a vinyl of it with the original cover at some point next year.

Definitely needs to be released with the original cover! Those 2019 and 2020 edition looked awful!

Just came here to say that EVERYONE forgot about the Junior Vasquez Remix of Wannabe. I don't understand how something so in demand could be overlooked. Seriously, people. Get. It. Togetha'! teresa.gif

Last year for Christmas we got the leak of Likely Stories. Fingers crossed we get something this year. Melody of Life or Go Go Go would be my picks.

Well last year it was the fans who were pissed at Spiceworld25 not bringing any unreleased tracks, from what I remember teresa.gif

So this year since they could avenge Goodbye25 and give us Overnight 1999 demo, to make up for the lack of appreciation the girls have consistently shown us with their releases.

No it is true, we deserve this for Christmas and it is about time those sad Spice Elite bast*rds will brings us some christmas JOY!
