A damn mess! Will this year's be messier though?
Hoping for improvements for No More Sad Songs (top 5?) and Reggaetón Lento. And a high debut for Think About Us.
Lowest: Lee (0), Chapman (-1)
Highest: UltraReputation (10).
Last place, again. I actually think as far as charity covers, go, 'Word Up' is cute! I gave it a 6, which it fully deserves to me. It's something I'd go back to more than, say 'I Just Can't Get Enough' or 'Walk This Way'. The video is a hoot, too. (That doesn't mean something from Salute should absolutely not replaced this.
Yeah WU is one of my fave charity cover singles. It's so much fun! But a deserving last place.
The extended mix of 'Word Up' goes OFF. Shame it's last place again, but not surprising given that the girls don't really have any total duds (well, released as singles anyway).
Lowest: Tawdry Hepburn & blacksquare (0)
Highest: CardiiB (9.5), PAJ88 (9)
And keeping the trend of finishing bottom 2 is their coronation, winning single 'Cannonball'. It's such a simple yet effective winners single. One of the very best for me. I understand why they wanted nothing to do with it in the past, but I feel like they could get away with performing this on tour again and people actually be in awe of the performance! So beautiful.
I'm still p***ed at Word Up! for ridding 'Nothing Feels Like You' of single status.
Word Up definitely a worthy last place.
Lowest: CardiiB (3)
Highest: Euphorique, Cqmerqn, PAJ88, Tawdry Hepburn, Jade (8) SamJudd(8.5)
Not a huge surprise that this one is out, it's usually one of the first to leave. As always, cute song, never should have been a single.
'Little Me' is a much better ballad than 'Change Your Life', forever dismayed at Buzzjack placing this lower than it.
Lowest: Tawdry Hepburn (2) colinn (3) & shindymindy (4)
Highest: Rossco (10) & Liam (8.5)
Next to leave us is the cute bop, 'Change Your Life'. It's becoming a bit of a thing for LM to have at least one of these huge, empowering pop anthems on their albums. They seem to be getting better with each era too. I really love this. It's pop at it's purest
How Ya Doin' to drop next I predict. Also do agree that 'Little Me' shouldn't have been a single, it nearly killed the era, 'Towers' should have been the X-Mas single for that year, followed by 'Nothing Feels Like You/Word Up' as the comic relief single and then have 'Salute' as the final single.
I'll always dislike 'Little Me' more than 'Change Your Life' simply because the former robbed so many potential single choices, whereas DNA was a pretty weak album overall. Having said that, they're both cute songs, just bottom of an otherwise stellar single discography.
The exact same placings as previously then!
Cannonball is better than both Little Me and Change Your Life and that's the tea
Lowest: Lee (2)
Highest: JosephAvery (10) Colin, Slick,...ready for it (9)
Another one of the usual suspects here, 'How Ya Doin', one of the girls' only two singles not to be certificated. I would have ago at you all, because to me this is a perfectly serviceable bop, bit to be honest, a 6.98 average is great, and probably slightly more than it deserves, and the songs about all pretty much deserve to be where they are.
I'll always have a soft spot for How Ya Doin - definitely their most underrated single. It's a cute homage to the nineties. bop~
I'm not sure I'd say it's a loss, but there are some which are finishing above which should be lower (looking at 'Only You' in particular off the top of my head).
Two big top 5 hits crash out next.
Lowest: blacksquare (0)
Highest: SamJudd (10) UltraReputation (9.5)
At #16 we have their first proper single and their 2nd #1, 'Wings'. The empowering anthem seems to be a big fave with the girls, it's one that seems to constantly be bettered with each performance. I'm kinda surprised it's as low as #16 though? I thought this song had a lot of good will going for it. It's a bop, but I do think they have done much better songs since. But it's cute.
Shocked Wings is so low, but they have so many singles now.
Hopefully SOTME crashes out next then.
So Only You and Hair next for the chop for sure!
Only You, Hair, Secret Love Song and Think About Us would be my next choices.
Think About Us isn't even a single.
'DNA' out next pls.
Word Up is such a BOP idec that I gave it a 10, it deserves better than dead last everytime
Cannonball is cute and I'll always love it, 11 year old me was obsessed with it at the time <3
I don't think I've listened to either Change Your Life or Little Me in years, both are low-key dull (LM more so)
How Ya Doin is again a lowkey bop but that's the right position for it, maybe even a place or two lower ngl
I adore Wings and I think it might still be in my top 10 singles of theirs, a great pop song
Um Hair should be out next. Wings is definitely basic and deserving of bottoming
'Wings' deserves much higher, especially over the likes of 'Only You', 'Hair' & 'Woman Like Me', and as for 'How Ya Doin', its okay enough but don't understand why it was chosen over 'Red Planet' is beyond me.
Lowest: Cqmerqn (-1) coi (0)
Highest: Joe, Theo, Liam, BiLLYx (10)
Woman Like Me lalala Woman Like Me
So y'all went and did their biggest streaming hit and best video as well as out and out bop pretty wrong, huh? Sure the Nicki rap is a bit too long, sure it's not as over the top as Shout Out, but it's still a bop.
I’m quite shocked at the last two results!
I really wouldn’t consider Think About Us and Only You as better than Woman Like Me and Wings but what can I say, BuzzJack has spoken~
'Woman Like Me' is great. It's a sound that works for them! Kinda surprised it didn't beat OY and Hair! TAU less so (mainly coz it's better soz not soz x)
WLM deserved top 10.
WLM is their worst lead bar 'Wings' but it's still a solid bop. I do prefer TAU though.
WLM is a great song
I'm suprised by that, but only a little.
Makes perfect sense to me. WLM is just ok. From this point on it’s only great singles!
Ouch, 'Wings' dropped out earlier than I would've anticipated nervous for 'DNA' now.
Echoing the how are 'Only You' and 'Think About Us' still in? comments. 'Word Up!' is more enjoyable than both, fight me x

A BOP *.* Tbh as much as I do adore this, I wouldn't probs have it more than a couple of places higher cos their single discography is so strong! I absolutely loved this at the time, then got a lil bored with it and fell back in love with it around when LM5 was released <3 (The live version slays as well *.*). Before hearing the song, many of us were expecting this to debut at #1/be LM5's proper lead single but even though Cheat Codes had main credit (therefore lowering expectations), this still kinda underperformed in the charts by only peaking at #13 iirc and missing the year end top 100 It deserved better, at least top 10 ngl. This is one of 3 good Cheat Codes songs (Feeling Of Falling with Kim Petras, their latest single, is their best yet) as unfortunately as with the chainsmokers, the male vocalist who can't hold a note keeps forcing himself on all their songs. Anyway the girls slay the vocals, the drop is generic but boppy and it's a fun song. Anyhoo this got a pretty polarising reaction here with some scores close to 0 but loads of 9's and a 10 as well! At least it gets revenge on WLM after the LM5 rate by beating it this time around x
Ha, glad to see Woman Like Me only just scraping top 15.
I loved Only You then hated it with a passion and now I’m loving it again. Mess.
This rate is cancelled, Woman Like Me only 15th?! I'm kinda shocked that I gave Only You a 9 as well, although there's probably a good 3 or 4 songs above it that should have dropped out by now (hello Hair!)
Meh, Only You is fine. I’m suspicious it did a bit of a mini-‘Rise’ (Katy Perry) and steal away a bit of the hype for their comeback.
Only You is sfg. It's really addictive and bops so much.
I had about a 4th wave of affection for 'Only You' when it was played in Polo the other night. Like, it's reductive and way beneath them at this point in their career, but it sounded incredible and Perrie's opening verse is undeniable. A better drop and it'd be a career highlight for me.
'Hair' to hold on for another few eliminations pls (fully expecting it to be next out).
Lowest: Cqmerqn (4), Coi & Jade (5)

And yep we have all 3 LM5 era singles in a row I think this is the first album to leave the rate then! Anyhoo lets start with the song first and then go into the f***ing mess of whatever's happening with it atm. Think About Us, again like Only You, is a bit generic but its the kind of pop bop that the girls pull off SO well and is easily one of the songs I've gone back to most on LM5. The production is fab and the girls vocals slay and I bop to this everytime I hear it <3 This got a couple of 10's and quite a few high scores but I'm kinda surprised its got some pretty low scores here (and a hella lot of average ones, there were so many 6's!!) as I've not seen much hate for this bar a couple of generic comments. This sounds like an absolutely massive hit. And that brings us to is this even gonna be a single. I mean it probably is cause they've shot a video for it but wtf is going on with the 2nd single from LM5??? They're serving Reputation 2nd single choice so badly atm with the complete mess of no one knowing what's going on and I really hope they push this in the next couple of weeks latest cos it is screaming out to be a hit, get the era back on track and get the album up the charts. If we still have no news of this being a single (officially with a video release date announcement minimum) by the end of Jan then I can see that Luis Fonsi collab being true & coming out in Feb, followed by a remixed song as the next single from LM5 in time for BGT. Let's hope the girls don't waste the opportunity of this being a smash!
Even though Think About Us is generic, like you say it is a bop and very single ready, as was Is Your Love Enough? But they keep missing out on these opportunities, let's not do this again Girls, LM5 would not have been first out of this rate included Monster and Wasabi.
'Only You' is so incredibly beneath them, I wish it didn't exist.
'Think About Us' is fairly good, it might need a video to bring it to life properly for me.
TAU is so f***ing good. I don't care how "generic" it is, it bops! Wish it made top 10 though 😭
Nooo!! Think About Us left too soon! I was really hoping AT LEAST top 10 It’s a gorgeous song, at the same level of the Glory Days singles for me.
Well, at least the LM5 positions are 100% accurate: Think About Us > Only You >>> Woman Like Me
Lowest: Lee, Coi (4)

'He was just a dick in a new wig' - Many casuals actually thought these were the lyrics for the longest time! Yes, 'Hair' falls next. A big post-album hit for the girls, surprisingly big as a 4th single too, peaking at #11 and selling over 700k! This was the first hint of the girls becoming obsessed with re-releasing singles with a guest rapper, as Sean Paul joined them for one of their more entertaining videos. 'Hair' only got 2 10s, but it also lacked in hate, so manages to finish in a decent place of #12
This casual still doesn't know the real lyrics then...
Forever an underrated BOP. <\3

What is y'alls problem with this pop anthem? Why do y'all have to do it dirty like this, AGAIN? It's so infectious and such a pop masterpiece. I agree that they have better, but it's harsh and quite sad to see it miss the top 10 AGAIN in their singles rate B A N G E R
I still adore SOTME. It's so anthemic and just a perfect representation of the 'Glory Days' era in general. It's not my personal favourite of theirs, but I'm glad it's their highest seller.
Only just twigged that DNA is still in. Gross.
'DNA' seemed to face a drop-off in popularity when the 'least favourite single' polls occurred so I'm thrilled that it's in the top 10, still my Little Mix favourite 6 years later <3 I know this is a completely different method of voting to those polls but losing 'Wings' so early was a bit of a shock, so I was fully prepared for 'DNA' to go out any minute too.
*is 10th*
Without giving TOO much away..
10th place will cause a meltdown or 2. I'm sure of it. Before seeing the results I had it down as an easy top 5...

Attention! Yes, 'Salute' falls out next, but comfortably making the top 10. It might be a little lower than some of you would have predicted, but every single song in the top 10 manages a 8+ average which is very impressive. 'Salute', I'd say is probably one of their most popular of their pre-imperial phase song these days, it's one that they love to perform still today.
YESSSSSSS at 'Shout Out to My Ex' missing the top 10 again! What a heinous, grating song.
I need to say how relived I am Black Magic has managed to make the top 10 this time. Being 11th last time made me sad....
Salute is a masterpiece I'd argue it's one of their top 5 signature hits? It seems to be the one that benefits quite alot whenever they do promo and it's always soundbedding things. I'm so sad to see it as low as 10 when it deserves top 3 </3
Great average though!
Salute is an absolute tune! Still one of my faves from them.
I See no meltdown.
'Secret Love Song' DESERVELY top nine

Hey cqmerqn, WHAT'S GOOD?? 'Secret Love Song' is the girls first, all out power ballad single and it really worked for them. It went on to be a huge smash peaking at #6 and is in their top 5 biggest sellers. One of the very best pure pop power ballads in recent times. It's become a staple in their setlists and is always dedicated to LGBTQ+ with a super cute moving image when you play this song on Spotify (I THINK it's for premium members only though).
An almighty song and a song that deserved top 2!
I really loved SLS at the time, I do kind of like it still but I never go back to it and it always feels like a slog to get through.
That is a fair placing for Secret Love Song.
Secret Love Song deserved better and probably should have been my 11.
Monster in Me is a better ballad for me!
Salute at 10? This rate is cancelled.

Up next at #8 is another absolute BANGER of a pop song. A song that seemed to take influence from Katy Perry's 'E.T.', ehich they covered in their XF live performances and became a classic XF performance for them. The hook is super catchy, Leigh's middle-8 is ridiculously infectious and the production is stellar. The video is simple but effective! I feel like the songs aged really well too and it saddens me to see it out the top 5 here.
I don't dislike DNA but it never fully clicked with me, even back in 2012. Jesy's delivery in the second verse has always irked me.
Really strong top 7 overall. I can see this being the finishing order:
7) Reggaeton Lento
6) Black Magic
5) Power
4) No More Sad Songs
3) Love Me Like You
2) Touch
1) Move
'Love Me Like You' is such an underrated track in my opinion and the girls themselves don't truly appreciate it.
I have no idea how 'Power' has ended up so high, at first I adored it but it became dated incredibly quickly and It's nowhere near as good as the the last five songs. 'Touch' obviously has this won but I would love if 'No More Sad Songs' finished top three! 'Black Magic' finally smashing the rate because Jerd has stopped her continuous hate.
Black Magic still in I'm shaking.
Lowest: ready for it (5) PAJ88 & blacksquare (6)

At #7 and holding up surprisingly well is the latin-infused, pop banger 'Reggaetón Lento'. This song went on to become another massive hit for the girls and ended up being the lead single to the reissued version of the 'Glory Days' album. It also gave huge Latin superstars CNCO their first (and currently only) UK hit. I'm surprised to see it as high as it is this year. I definitely thought peoples opinions on this had waned a little since the last time we did this. Seeing it above known faves like DNA and Salute is a little surprising to me. A banger though!
I like it, but no way should it be this high.
Very odd to see Reggaetón Lento so high here, it definitely feels forgotten just over a year later but I do still bop when I hear it.
Reggaetón Lento is one of my FAVS.
It's a good'un

An absolutely gorgeous bop, which showcases beautiful melodies, great vocals with a hint of the tropical-bop trend that was popular at the time. It still stands up for being one of their catchiest choruses. It's one of my favourites of theirs because I love emotional-bangers, and it's the kind of song I imagine dancing to at sunset at a festival or something. I'm glad it's still very popular here, taking the most 11s (so far).
Previous #11 Black Magic is thriving without Jade's usual -1. So glad it managed to make the top 5!
Way too high.
'No More Sad Songs' is by far my favourite Little Mix song, I even love the Machine Gun Kelly rap. It's just perfection in a pop song imo, 'NMSS', 'SLS' and 'BM' >>>>>
Y'all are deluded if you think 'Power' is better.
NMSS 😍😍 I'm pleasently surprised that it managed to jump up a spot from the last time we did this, as I feared it would fall to about #11 or #12. It's my fave LM song for the reasons Joe stated in the commentary! That melody is stunning! Their vocals are gorgeous and I still can't get over that it's Leigh doing the "No More Sad Songs" at the end of the chorus as I was convinced that it was Perrie!
Reggaetón Lento will always be my absolute favorite song of theirs. And the reason why I found out about Little Mix and why I am on this forum now
And No More Sad Songs is my second favorite! Sad to see both of them leave right before the top 5, but at least they (slightly) improved their positions compared to last year. Next year: TOP 5! (I wish.. )
Never give up hope xan!!!!
So your top 5 are:
Black Magic
Love Me Like You
Move
Power
Touch
Any predictionsssss???
I thiiiiink it'll go...
5. Black Magic
4. Love Me Like You
3. Move
2. Power
1. Touch
I agree No More Sad Songs is far superior to Power (even though I enjoy both), they both have kind of trend chasing production but NMSS is just a bit more intricate.
NMSS. It's such an injustice that is was the worst performing of the GD era singles.
I reckon:
5) Black Magic
4) Power
3) LMLY
2) Touch
1) Move
Want:
5 Power
4 Black Magic
3 Love Me Like You
2 Move
1 Touch
Think:
5 Black Magic
4 Love Me Like You
3 Touch (Didn't it get a -1? )
2 Power
1 Move
I can see Touch or Black Magic winning and both are deserving winners. My issue with Move is it is the weakest. (Yes I’m bias to LMLY x)
NMSS is way too high! Decent top 5 but Love Me Like You logging a second year there is odd to say the least. Touch to slay x
Lowest: Joe (6)

Kicking off the top 5 now and we say goodbye to, 'Power'. 'Power' seemed to become the huuuuge fan favourite from the get go, well after 'Touch' at least, but people were a bit unsure as to how it would've done as a single due to it's unique style. It's like a blended mix of every genre ever to exist. Perrie's opening instantly hooks you in and has you shook! A bold and brave choice. It's a shame this never got the big BGT performance, coz I think it would've been another top 3 smash for them (but that was through no fault of their own and they did the noble thing and performed 'Wings' for Ariana & Manchester instead <3). A banger!
Why did I give this anything above a 7?
Fantastic to see it drop out *.*
Lol i feel harsh giving this a 6, it's a solid 8 for me, but far from their best.
Power out before Black Magic is homophobia
A banger!
Just caught up on this topic, some thoughts:
- The correct bottom 2, Word Up! is their only single that I didn't really like and Cannonball is nice but nothing more.
- How Ya Doin'? forever underrated.
- Wings being so low is a shock! Not one of their very best for me though. Same for Woman Like Me - the video is excellent but the song is rather flat for LM.
- Shout Out To My Ex gets way too much hate.
- Reggaetón Lento is one of their very best, although I feel that's more down to the original version being great also than Little Mix's version specifically. Nevertheless, it's brill and I'm glad to see it high up!
- On the other hand, No More Sad Songs is forever overrated.
Love Me Like You to be out ASAP please.
It might be because I was late to the game and I only got into Little Mix recently, but it is surprising for me to see Black Magic and Love Me Like You charting higher than the amazing Glory Days singles.. Rooting for Touch at this point!
NMSS definitely still my favorite, Power went at the right time. Great top 5 in all fairness, I'd love a Move, Touch top 2.

I'm very impressed to see 'Love Me Like You' continuously smash these rates all years later given it feels largely overshadowed by many singles that came after and were bigger hits. Regardless, I still find this to be one of Little Mix's very best and daring single choices. In my brain it's synonymous with the beginning of Little Mix's imperial phase, as it gave them their best album sales (so far) at the time. L-O-V-E.
'Love Me Like You' is beautiful. Their XF performance of it still slays my existence and is probably my favourite performance of theirs to date! (Soz Brits x)
A SONG. Slightly salty that Black Magic beat it this time around.
LMLY higher than NMSS? Nonsense!!
This whole thing is in the wrong order.
LMLY is a marvellous song, it deserves to be this high.

At #3 and a tiny bit of a shock. That's right, 'Black Magic' has managed to jump from outside the top 10 last, to top 2 as we lose 'Touch' next! What an ALMIGHTY pop club BANGER. It's so perfect and suits them down to a tea. It went on to be a massive hit for the girls and arguably their signature hit, well one of them anyway! Amazing song.
Lee, imma kill you
Delightful to see their most overrated single not winning *.* I thought it was almost a certain to win as it was getting 11's left right and centre. TASTE pulling through. I'm here for a deserved 'Black Magic' win
Okay 'Black Magic' needs to chill. It's cute and I know it single-handedly revived their career and all, but it beating out 'Touch' is a mess. 'Move' would be an amazing winner.
This is wrong. Homosexuality cancelled
Bye Touch x Glad it didn't win, it's a bop but so so overrated. Love Me Like You and Power

Jade finally improving her music taste a lil bit (xxxxx) and not giving BM a -1 sees the song jump from horribly missing the top 10 last time around to finishing in the runner up position An iconic BOP *.* This basically saved LM's career and is one of their signature hits (icr if this or SOTME is their biggest selling but its one of those x). An absolute perfect choice of lead single, this is just a pure bubblegum pop SMASH that goes off everytime I hear it, its just got such a fun and irresistable chorus that gets stuck in your heads and the verses/clapping etc all work so well. I just adore these kind of pop songs that are just so instant and are perfect examples of fab pop songs. This only got two 11's but got 10's I'm presuming from over half the people in the rate and only a couple of average scores! I'm so glad this has improved so much since the last rate, a deserved climb in position and average <3 A pop classic and also a Halloween classic for me *.* (yep I'm one of those people that includes songs like 'magic', 'ghost' & 'haunted' as Halloween songs xx)

And with four 11's and about a million 10's, your winner this time around is the absolutely fantastic lead of their 2nd album, 'Move' I'm so glad this won as it's in my three favourite Little Mix songs ever (alongside Power & Love Me Like You) and this is such a standout highlight in their discography <3 The structure of the song is innovative and works SO well, I absolutely adore and live for Perrie's parts and the chorus is sfg. An addictive pop bop that received a bit of a mix reaction at first iirc but quickly grew on most people very quickly (including myself). This peaked at #3 in the UK and deserved better sales than it got but it still slayed and did v. well for the girls and its reputation post-release is fab <3 I also stan the music video. Anyway this is about a million times better winner than Touch so I'm overjoyed this is our new champion so wd guys <3
Thanks to Jonjo/Joe for taking on the bulk of results and slaying them and thanks all for commenting, see y'all next time around when we'll have about 5 more singles with featured artists on to add to the list (nope I'm not starting another argument about this so I'll stop there cos idc about features xx)
'Move' is a masterpiece and a fantastic winner. I'm still in awe that they released it so early on in their career.
What a great top 2. Not my personal top 2 faves, but I can definitely see and appreciate the appeal in them.
'Black Magic' wasn't just the song THEY needed, but it was the pop song that WE and the charts needed. Incredibly carefree and just pure fun. The Brits performance of this slays my existence!
I always forget just how much I love 'Move' until I've listened to it. Such an interesting structure for a song and it works incredibly well. It goes OFF live.
Jade gave 'Black Magic' as high as a 5? Cancelled.
Incredible winner, and a decent runner-up, even if it wouldn't be my first choice.
Thanks so much to the three of you for hosting! Looking forward to the Think About Us remix finishing dead last next year
Yes, great winner!
Thanks for the great job guys!
Overall some reasonable results. Just a bit disappointed with the Glory Days singles not reigning at the top, and VERY disappointed with Think About Us debuting so low. That does not make sense to me.
Yeah Think About Us I can see climbing next year. Especially once it’s a hit.
I'm thrilled 'Move' winning, for me it's absolutely their best song. It's basically art.
'Black Magic' is also a total pop classic now, although I am still convinced the lyrics are about date rape.
y'all can thank me for stopping the most overrated single 'touch' by streaming zara Larsson on spotify
Touch is a basic bop done right but Move is the superior song. Black Magic is also pure pop perfection so I can't really argue with any of the final placements.
