WHAT at Charli XCX Feat. Rita Ora?
First of all, shouldn't 'Breaking Up' be the single? There is no video for this. Secondly, WHY do people insist on exposing that awful Rita woman at any opportunity? |

Lips Are Movin and Take Me To Church are great A-list additions, hope both go on to be big (or even bigger than they are now for the latter).
Also when do we get to hear this Charli feat. Rita collab, is it out there already (as part of Sucker) because sounds amazing. |

didn't know Charli XCX and Rita Ora had a collaboration lol. There must've been an Iggy Azalea collaborators meet-up and they got on
Bakermat and DJ Fresh playlisted though And The Prodigy before it's even premiered |

I'd imagine within the next 24 hours seeing as it's already on the playlist Just another attempt to market The Voice really. Poor Charli |

The Prodigy being added before the song has even premiered is hopefully an indication that A) they're still going to get heavy R1 support and B) it's being released OA/OS. Hype. (Presumably it's premiering on or around 12 Jan).

Glad Beyonce has been removed from the playlist, but quite ironic seeing as it's finally gone Top 40 on iTunes after support from Radio 1.

Oops sorry Seven, I split these posts away from the R1 Discussion thread while you were making the playlist thread I added your neat formatted version of the playlist into the first post anyway so it wasn't wasted effort.
Yes if we could try and keep playlist discussion to the standard weekly threads instead of lumping it in with the discussion thread I think that'd be better for ease of historic reference (easier to find playlists for a specific week in separate threads than searching through one big thread) ~ Plus it is a tradition of the chart forum and it'd be quite sad to see it die |

yeah the discussion thread was made for TOTD talk and playlist predictions, I don't want to see these threads die off

Happy to see Bakermat get support for 'Teach me'. It's a shame 'One Day (Vandaag) wasn't playlisted. Also pleased to see continued support for Imagine Dragons, David Guetta and The Prodigy.

Presumably Chris Malinchak's release has been put back a bit, they wouldn't add it for one week then immediately drop it otherwise surely. It doesn't have a pre-order up on iTunes at all currently.
Only just noticed that Bakermat was added, how odd when they never bothered with 'One Day (Vandaag)'... |

The Chris Malinchak song has never been on iTunes, so I'm guessing its not getting a proper release?? It sounds more of a March/April song to me so maybe they're just holding fire.
Great to see DJ Fresh added, its not his best but its still very good! I imagine it will chart well first week then plummet down the chart sadly. |

Absolutely typical that Beyonce is removed after a 25 place climb in 2 days. It'll drop like a stone next week then, because it's running purely off Radio 1 support.
Jessie Ware having a second week on A list is great, the song deserves a second chance/week to try and resonate with people, it's beautiful. Was hoping Echosmith would go A-list. Charli XCX (ft. Rita Ora) ... *.* One of my favs and one of my least favs. I thought 'Breaking Up' was her new single!? This post has been edited by Joe.: Jan 7 2015, 07:05 PM |

Finally Thinking Out Loud leaves haha. Wouldn't be surprised if they add Bloodstream sooner now that's the supposed next release from X.
Oh and Yassss at Ellie getting added even though they'll playlist anything by her regardless This post has been edited by Rob S: Jan 7 2015, 07:16 PM |

Brilliant additions this week for Bakermat, David Guetta, DJ Fresh & The Prodigy!
Oops @ Chris Malinchak's bizarre removal ~ however I'm delighted 'Thinking Out Loud' has finally been canned! |

I'm pretty sure 'Thinking Out Loud's removal will have no impact on the amount of plays they're giving it, to be honest.
