Also, tied positions are not broken and a final scoreboard will be posted (with everything of course) at the end so don't panic if there's a 4-way tie and you happen to fall at the bottom.

Before we start here's the longest commiseration list ever: Unovia (after receiving 7 points from us in an already very strong final and actually GROWING on us in the final!), #00274E, Fljótavík, Palmyra, Aeroche, Aquafina, Kathaldazia, Allecian, FNT Nickodonia, Terra Dinosaur, Altyr Muunilinst, Ramrynia, Ethanola, Vülkyria. In that order, all of your songs were LOVED but sadly we are constrained to just 10 votes. As we've already revealed the majority of the others we might as well finish it off. Ashton are just behind that pack, followed by Greenfroze, Daehun, Ingermanlandia and FSR Rontvia. The last remaining country can figure out themselves as they sent the only song we didn't like in this month's final.

Eight points go to SKALL with the absolutely gorgeous 'Baba Yetu' by Christopher Tin featuring Soweto Gospel Choir. Goosebumps every time, especially when coupled with those visuals. Never played Civilization IV (or any other game in the series) but I almost want to for this theme tune alone.

A ten pointer that so nearly became a 12 pointer at the last second, but sticking to what it received in semifinal 1, it's SYNDARE with the irresistibly infectious funky disco vibez and whatnot of Skogsrå with 'Now You See Me', their first truly GREAT entry since Belanger. We live in hope of them one day returning substantial pointage to us but for now are willing to further imbalance the Synphonia points exchange.

So who has received our 12? None other than KYLIENIPS with Låpsley's 'Station', another one for the 'goosebumps every time' list. I'm not convinced Låpsley is actually not just James Blake with a female vocalist. Well done to the 'nips anyhow as they pick up a top score from Persephonia for the third time, following Yasmin's 'On My Own' in BJSC XXX and Thomas Azier's 'Ghostcity' in BJSC LVI.

Everything down to S O H N and possibly backt mariah as well would have got a 12 in the last contest.

I did really like 'SWIM' as per almost every other song this month but it did kind of suffer from the same 'good indie pop song but doesn't really stand out enough to be a big fave' problem as the likes of Youngblood Hawke.

I was quite surprised at the synergy, but it's quite refreshing to be so close to someone in taste like this, don't think it's quite happened for a while in the contest.

I've been playing those three so much too, so much more than everything else in the contest (and it's still so strong), I think Helene and Baba Yetu briefly went top 5 in my chart before I let MF flood in last week.

Rather disgraceful that 'hands' missed the top 10 - easily one of my favourite ever entries on Buzzjack and surprised so many pop voters seemed to have snubbed it.

Wooo thank you for all of the voters especially for FSR Rontvia, Ramrynia and Séyetana giving me 12 points! Finally Ingrid got a top-10 result and it's probably her last appearance in BJSC for a while, as she's been entered three times now.

I have a song for the next contest which I love - but I hope it doesn't get entered in UP!!! Quite a lot of my song choices are spoiled there ooops.

Delighted with 13th and over 100 points for 25 Bucks, though was realistically what I was aiming for, I felt a song so good (as well as being totally different to anything else that would be entered) should've done well. Thanks to everyone who voted for it!

I have now finished between 11th and 13th more than I've finished in the top 10 though! Hopefully get a 4th consecutive qualifier.

This is like the 4th time Séyetana have come 10th wut. Keeping on stretching their lead over PERS for top 10 finishes and by such a tiny margin each time Though 'Angel With A Shotgun' is amazing so I'll allow it on this occasion.

GWON backt mariah, I didn't notice them holding up there the whole time. V unexpected. I didn't think Tourist would do anywhere near that well either but then I guess he/they did have some hype.

Was rly expecting Paces to be a win contender! They were 3rd in their semi before the deduction.

And finally poor old Allecian, will they ever get a hit again? Second time of Verona have finished 2nd last as well.

lmao Iida received 6 twelves but didn't even finish Top 10. ooops I guess sending pure pop DOESN'T CUT IT anymore.

I must say I very much liked it during Semis but it got old very quickly so THANKFULLY I saw sense to only give it one point in the final which SAVED the Top 10 from being spoiled.

Didn't have chance to check the results until now - I must admit I'm slightly gutted at missing out by two points, but I've still done MILES better than I thought I would've done when I first entered it! Thanks to all that voted for me - it's so nice when some of the more UNLIKELY countries send you love.

Yes S O H N so indie, so experimental~ I found pop entries such as Parralox, of Verona and Gilligan Moss way more interesting to listen to than the winner, and OH LOOK they're hanging around in the bottom 5. </3 'Artifice' is a solid track though, don't get me wrong, and we had a 'different' entry win last month so I'm not complaining too much!

What my next entry is probably depends on whether I AQ or not. And even then I'm gonna have to have a good think. HMM.

Just because Indila had the most indie song in existence.. is that what you are saying?! She broke all kinds of records yet she's not even an OUNCE of indie. Not all pop voters have to vote for all pop songs... mainly because the majority of all songs sent to BJSC are pop. Get a grip, send a pop song with strong crossover appeal (YES! these DO exist) and therefore do well instead of spewing crap about how you're such a victim here.

9th, 10th and 11th this contest (seriously Lee, 11th's a really good position) are all undoubtedly on the pop side of the spectrum and that's not even counting various other definitions of pop, I'd say Artifice and Solo Dancing are quite pop-esque myself.

Yes, JESS MAUBOY and her ilk won't win any more but that's because not enough people will like them (in general). Similarly I don't think the very indie songs like Station will win these days either (was always a little baffled at that being a contender) - it works both ways.

I'm still not totally decided on my next entry but I think I'm heading down the RISK~ route. (i.e. no chance of qualifying unless I get a good semi draw and even then). I've had 3 qualifiers in a row now so why not.

Unrelated: my final positions have been so repetitive recently Since Machines Don't Care I've finished 2nd twice, 14th twice, 19th twice and now 24th twice. And the other 3 positions were 3rd, 17th and 25th i.e. not very different from those. I just want to get some unique positions in my discography for once
