Ohh thanks Martin. Anything could happen Sunday with the rate Band Aid dropping.
Where are Cheryl and Bette in albums? |

14 for David Guetta is awful, will be really really shocked if this album missed the top 20!
Olly's sales aren't that great but hopefully that's the #1 album sorted so that's good news. Hope Beyonce and Jennifer Lawrence sneak in the top 40 later in the week but won't be shocked at all if they don't.. |

So Olly is going to end selling 60k-65k this week, I expected more
As long as he has longevity, he has an ITV special next month. |

Olly's sales seem low given his promo budget mut have been massive.

I think his album will sell about 600k overall this time which is enough.
Ridiculously popular. He'll boast a No.1 album thats all people will remember. His sales are low but low for everyone. Even 1D lost 90k sales in comparison to last year. |

Decent margin between Olly and 1D in the albums - Happy with that. Although, I expected Olly's sales to be higher, but it is only Tuesday... And maybe people are holding out for Christmas?
Just hope sales can hold up to get his 3rd number 1 album |

Singles 1 Take That (24.2k - 125 copies ahead) * 2 Band Aid 30 (24.1k) 3 McBusted (16.5k) 4 Labrinth (11.1k) 5 Olly Murs feat. Travie McCoy (10.9k) Take That only 125 copies ahead is a bit worrying. I sincerely hope they keep ahead of Band Aid through the west of the week Clean Bandit is below Olly Murs? That's outrageous! So where is Clean Bandit today? |

With people starting to buy xmas gifts now and likely good Saturday sales Olly Murs could hit 70-80k, surprised Take that are even close to Band Aid could have chance of keeping no.1 with band aid now falling alot

Such awful sales across the board and so many albums flopping this week. Considering the sheer volume of new releases this week I'd have expected more top ten debuts, especially at the Tuesday stage. Shame Take That have such a small lead, and crazy that Band Aid is set to drop from 312k to 70k maybe.

JAMES BAY in the top 10 due to his EPs!!! Unreal for him. Hes gained massively in popularity since the live lounge fill in for Lana. Should end up at least top 30 now.
Take That could still have a chance with the pace Band Aid is still falling on itunes - Take That could be ahead by Friday and Labrinth could sneak in to the top spot too (on itunes) as hes gaining more than both of them. Take That also have the Graham Norton performance on friday plus increasing streaming sales (top 100 there today) to help them. So this battles far from over. Ollys album is quite low at 34k but due to the time of year sales could increase towards the end of the week as people go xmas shopping - could do 70k still! |

Band Aid will be lucky to shift 100k this week. Album sales don't look great considering we are only 4 weeks away from Christmas and Q4 is supposed to be height of sales. Olly will be lucky to break 100k too. I think this year has got to be one of the weakest Q4 release schedules I've come across for years. Maybe that explains the lower sales.

No idea how James Bay is that high. I'm confident that Kiesza will remain top 40 now (it's exactly where Vic Mensa was in Tues update) which is something at least! Poor on both parts for Guetta though. Considering his combined positions for WIDFL I'd have expected higher than that and let's not even start on his album, I can't fathom how's it selling so low On the plus side Am I Wrong is back (but won't remain top 40 come Sunday).
Where are Blame, Outside & Dangerous sitting? Cheers. This post has been edited by Dobbo: 25th November 2014, 02:02 PM |

James Bays EP was No1 for 48 hours at the start of the week Does anyone know if Rod Stewarts xmas album is top 40 in the albums and Hozier is still in the singles chart? |

WOW at James Bay That's fantastic for him, not heard the track yet but I saw him supporting Tom Odell earlier in the year and really liked him.
