There's quite a few new releases about now, but because of the nature of the chart most of them don't make a major chart impact at least in their first week.

Taking the most notable new releases of the week I have shortlisted the potentials for Buzzjack's TOTW. In the event of a double release/album by an artist, I'll choose the one that's been pushed on Spotify's New Music Friday UK playlist/higher on iTunes etc. "new versions" are not included.

It's a bit unfair to only include one Abba song, what if people prefer the other one? (I don't but some people might).

It was always the case, even before I took over this, that the more popular one (based on streaming/sales charts etc) would be included if more than one song was released.

But on reflection I suppose it would make sense to include both if it's just 2 tracks being released! So I'll probably do that in future. Though I don't think it will make much impact this week as I'd be very surprised if the other ABBA track were to receive more votes.
