Ashnikko has just released 'Cry' featuring Grimes, I'm pleasantly surprised! I love Ashnikko's vocals in this, but it's a shame it's not a bit longer.

So with support from Radio 1, Spotify and Apple Music, Daisy looks set to enter the official chart this week. It’s a bop, had it on repeat so much since its release in July wub.gif



Album with this and Cry is called DEMIDEVIL and is due out on October 9th.

Great to see Daisies doing well, and I can't wait for the album! I really hope this metal version of Cry with Employed To Serve gets an official release at some point also

Well Daisy reminds me a bit of Doja Cat in style with a Katy Perry-esque vocal style in the chorus and also strangely the chorus reminds me a bit in style of Dy-Na-Mi-Tee from the early 00s! laugh.gif Anyway I like this song and yes hopefully it will make top 40.

Eh Daisies would be there on it's own, but her general sound is more a mash up of everything - which I'd say would lean towards alt. (She's featured on alt/indie Spotify playlists as well, with songs like the lead single Cry)

Fair enough - 'Daisy' is literally the only thing I've heard by her so I just assumed that was her sound! I'll have to check out some of her other stuff then.

Well the production in Daisy is a bit Billie Eilish-esque in parts I think even though its more hip hop based.

It kind of reminds me of Kate Nash songs with the 'raw' vocal style and piano production but obviously with an American accent and more explicit lyrics.
