I thought it seems like a good time to make a thread for the lead single to Leona's Christmas album. As has been discussed in the album thread, the video is being shot today and from a Twitter Q&A we know it will be an uptempo lead single!
 Personally hoping for something in the vein of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'. A nice uptempo Christmas song which doesn't seem to age and shows the singer's voice off. Hopefully Leona's managed to use this formula for her lead single! Just to keep you teased  "The new Leonard Lewis Xmas album is fantastic. On one track she is the best I have ever heard her sing." From Simon Cowell himself!

The release date is most likely November 24th, a week before the album.
So excited for this! We could even get snippets over the weekend. Also, Leona's album is motown inspired, so the lead single is likely to have a bit of motown influence.

Leona is filming the music video for the Christmas Single this weekend, According to her make up artist its a 2 day video shoot.

I have a good feeling about this single! Hopefully it might challenge for #1 (at least in that quiet, low sales week before Christmas week).

Personally, I'm hoping for Slayona to return and snatch the Christmas #1 from the X-factor winner.
But in reality, I'll be happy if the single sells 150k and the album goes gold.  Would be lovely for Leona to get a 4th #1 with it though! She would tie Geri Haliwell's record for most #1s by a British female artist. |

It's called One More Sleep!
It genuinely sounds like it could be a Christmas classic but I'm not sure whether any more Christmas songs will ever become actual classics. It has the potential though and it's what she needed to make this a success! |

I just changed the title to One More Sleep but added a question mark since it's not confirmed. If it is confirmed as just an album track, I'll change it back!
