So we have a new number one. Mark Knight's anthem has fallen from the top spot to make way for France's hottest export.
The new single due out in May is a gorgeous mixture of his trademark whistle and infectious chugging beats topped with sublime vocals from the legendary Steve Edwards, the voice on Cassius' "Sound Of Violence".
I think the message of the tune, is that children are the future and we should nurture them. Am i right?! lol

US duo Gnarls Barkley may very well have the biggest hit of the year on their hands as sales for "Crazy" continue to grow from strength to strength.
We see the same pattern chez moi with it climbing a massive 14 places thanks to massive increase in airplay.

It seems we have an influx of remakes doing the rounds, what with Beatfreaks and Aurora doing so well in my chart. The third in line is our highest new entry this week, from a tune that has been humongous in Europe, the Disco Boys and their UK debut of the Mannfred Mann's Earth Band "For You".
The Freemasons boys get hold of this one and do some serious damage on the dancefloor as a result.

Another new addition to the chart is Nick Bracegirdle's latest effort in a long line of chart history success.
He acheived a massive number one with Bryan Adams and who's to say this wont do the same.
So just when you think you've heard the strangest combinations, who does he get to guest vocal??!!
Welsh crooner Mr Tom Jones thats who!!!
Well, just like "Dont Give Up", strangely this works, its an infectious piece of summer and this is gonna be massive!!!

The last new entry in the chart is from another Frenchman, he has been responsible for remixing Bob Sinclar and Lee-Cabrera and now wants a hit in his own name...and why not!!!
This is a future summer sing-a-long jam packed with euphoric strings and Roisin Murphy-soundalike Emily's vocals. "Keep On Trying" should give Boss Records another hit to rival "I See Girls".
