Nice to see more additions this week but still nothing to get excited about...though I'm pleased to see The Avener getting added, Flo-Rida though
Had hoped for a climb from Bakermat but good to see Calvin climb This post has been edited by James1987: Feb 11 2015, 06:30 PM |

Weird they've added Kelly just one week before release - but I'm not complaining.
Great to see Charli on the A list for another week. Thank god Uptown Funk and Take Me to Church are gone. Now that Tuesday and Pray To God are on the B list they should have some proper impact. |

The Prodigy off already?
Woo for Disciples / Rihanna / I LOVE MAKONNEN / The Weeknd. Barely heard any of the new additions as usual. A bit surprised to see Flo Rida on there, didn't R1 snub 'How I Feel'? Then again this is (probably) a more serious song. Lol bai Rae Sremmurd. |

I'm really amazed by Kelly, not only because it's so close to release but because they haven't been supporting her for quite a while now.
I would say shame about G.R.L., but maybe anything is possible considering Kelly? I'd say probably not though, and I'll have to revise my prediction for it sadly. |

Excellent addition for The Avener , it’s also pleasing to see Disciples and Years & Years climb into the top tier.
YASS @ the Hozier removal , although I don’t suppose that’ll stop them playing it 20 odd times in the next week~ |

I'm really amazed by Kelly, not only because it's so close to release but because they haven't been supporting her for quite a while now. Radio 1 have always been kind to Kelly. They playlisted 'Dark Side' which was the last single to get any sort of push/promo from her. Her 'Greatest Hits' era singles didn't get a release in the UK iirc and they played 'Underneath The Tree' a lot these past couple of years, despite never really playlisting it (I don't think). It is bizarre about the timing of this playlist though, but I for one won't be moaning! Now I hope it can go top 10 and keep R1 on board for the second single/enough to keep the album selling!I would say shame about G.R.L., but maybe anything is possible considering Kelly? I'd say probably not though, and I'll have to revise my prediction for it sadly. Hopefully with this being playlisted so late, it means they've managed to get her in for another Live Lounge or something |

I know Kelly has a good few promotional spots lined up - Graham Norton & Loose Women so far. I'm sure she'll be popping by some radio stations and hopefully another TV performance or two to be added. |

Maybe Kelly's single has been pushed back a couple of weeks or something and that's why they've only added it now? Radio 1 always seem privy to release date information before anyone else. It's the only explanation I can think of for playlisting it this late anyway.
Good to see continued support for The Script, this single is much better than 'No Good In Goodbye'. Other than that, nice clearout this week. Kinda surprised they haven't playlisted Axwell Λ Ingrosso, that sounds right up their street. 'Sugar' has almost certainly been snubbed now, which is surprising. 'Style' will most likely be added next week. Oh and if they don't add Jessie Ware next week, I'm gonna personally march down to the Radio 1 office and DEMAND A GOD DAMN EXPLANATION. |

I wouldn't be surprised if she was play-listed for the live lounge. They do LIKE her, they've been playing Heartbeat Song occasionally anyway. Being C- list for one week before release won't make a huge difference to her pre-orders but I'm happy with the support nonetheless.

It's the only explanation I can think of for playlisting it this late anyway. I was going to say the same thing! I recall people questioning Ed Sheeran's 'Sing' being moved down to the B List for one week having already had 2 weeks on the A List only for us to discover that the release has been pushed back a week; you must be right with Radio 1 knowing information beforehand. My guess is also that Kelly's single has been pushed back! Boo at no Maroon 5 or G.R.L but I'm actually glad they're supporting GDFR! Taking off in the States properly now and is strangely addictive! Style to be added next week pls |

'Sugar' has almost certainly been snubbed now, which is surprising. Is there an impact date for it. On the release schedule there doesn't seem to be one. It's very odd if they have since it's performing way better than 'Animals' did not that it matters as it's still a bit of a dull song anyway. |

It's a bit annoying that they won't playlist G.R.L despite 'Ugly Heart' becoming a hit against all odds. I believe they gave Neon Jungle a chance after 'Braveheart' performed well. I imagine that if it was a boyband in a similar situation, they'd have no hesitation in supporting them.
