Dexton's Top 20 (21/11/2017) (Week 28)
Triple Lauv? Standing strong in the top spot is Rita Ora's Anywhere for a second consecutive week, her third Top 2 hit here which is quickly establishing Rita as one of my charts most successful artists. Similarily, Lauv enters the Top 5 for a third time with Easy Outside the Top 5 we have three new entries this week coming from the likes of Luis Fonsi & Demi Lovato, Lauv (again?!), and God's Favourite Band - Green Day. Luis Fonsi makes his first chart entry since the infectious Despacito debuted at #1 right at the very beginning of my weekly Top 20 chart. Will Échame La Culpa match Despacito's peak in a few weeks? Lauv's new single Paris In The Rain enters (#13) the chart this week in what is strangely his lowest debut entry. Green Day's newest song Back In The USA from their album Greatest Hits: God's Favourite Band enters at #19, whilst the album itself tops the album chart - but more on that later. Climbing into the Top 10 are Clean Bandit's I Miss You featuring Julia Michaels (14-9) and Taylor Swift's ... Ready For It? (18-10). Clean Bandit previously held the #1 position with their long-awaited collaboration Disconnect with Marina & The Diamonds. I Miss You is looking unlikely to match Disconnect's peak, although Top 5 could be on the horizon. I was initially underwhelmed by this track however it has grown on me a lot lately and has hyped me up for CB2. A coincidentally similar case goes for ...Ready For It? which I actually didn't like when it was first released. Since Reputation was released though I've had the album on repeat (at least the first half, anyway) and ...Ready For It? is definately a grower. Over in the album chart we have Green Day scoring their first #1 album with Greatest Hits: God's Favourite Band, a greatest hits album (obviously) with a new track and new remix of a Revolution Radio album track. Ordinary World featuring Miranda Lambert is just as underwhelming as the version without her, however Back In The USA is definately in the better half of Green Day's discography. Whilst Back In The USA is certainly not a match compared to some Green Day classics (American Idiot anyone?), I am enjoying this album a lot Thanks for reading! Hi Dexton!
Nice to see 17 still climbing! Looks like that could be the big Christmas/New Year dance hit this year! I do prefer Piece of Me though Great to see new Luis Fonsi enter as well! Looks like it won't be anywhere near as big as Despacito although it is a great song! Great chart |

Piece of Me was 10/10, same for My Love 4 U really I do love 17 though I (and 99% of the world) wasn't expecting much for the follow up to Despacito, but Echame La Culpa is actually a lot better than I was expecting! Demi sounds much better on this than she did on Sorry Not Sorry... or No Promises actually I love her but sometimes she pushes her voice a bit too far which doesn't do much for me Thanks for commenting! |

All these Lauv songs here but A Different Way dropping out Good chart Hi D0bz! 17, Blinded By Your Grace, and I Miss You are all brilliant Yeah I don't think Echame La Culpa will do as well as Despacito did I do like it though, although mainly for Demi Lovato's input than the rest of it Back In The USA is great but I'm already over it really, Too Dumb To Die was a highlight from the album for me! Too much Lauv Thanks for commenting! Hi! Great number 1 again Easy Love and 17 still climbing I Miss You making your top 10 too!! Yay at new Lauv entering, Paris in the Rain is really good and so catchy Great Chart! Hi Bridge! I'm loving Anywhere! For me I think it's Rita's best output in years Shame 17 isn't looking like it's gonna climb much further here I love the song but it's just being overshadowed by so much more right now Paris In The Rain is great but not as great as the last two singles Thanks for commenting! Echame La Cupla is pretty addicting, I think Demi did an amazing job with it! Nice to see Ready For It rising a lot! Hey Cody! Demi definately makes the song Hopefully it'll become a hit in the future, although it is more a summer-sounding song so maybe UK winter isn't the right time for Echame La Culpa Ready For It has turned me into a bit of a Taylor Swift fan Thanks for commenting! |

Hello Dexton!
I'm glad that "Anywhere" is still your #1, it's one of my biggest climbers in my chart! I'm also very happy that "I Miss You" and "...Ready For It" went to your Top 10! And I have to say your debuts are all great too! Great chart overall! |
