Another own goal? Regardless, Spain lead already.
Swiss need to find another gear or two in the second half or this tournament will just peter out for them
Come on Switzerland! Would love another surprise here, only one goal behind still.
Shaqiri levels for Switzerland.
And there we go! Anyone's game now.
Freuler sent off for Switzerland.
Oh dear, red card for Switzerland. That will make life a lot more difficult for them
Spain looking this evening as ordinary as they did in their first two games of the tournament.
Without Sommer, Switzerland would already be dead in the water.
Yes, Spain would have been 3-1 up without Sommer.
Spain just can’t take there chances and they are gonna regret it big time!
Spain have squandered so many chances in this match. The Switzerland goalkeeper should get man of the match.
Penalties it is then.
Switzerland coming to knock out another big team on penalties
Finally people puttin respect on Sommers name
That First Spanish penalty was hilarious. I’m still in hysterics
Still 1-1 on penalties, Sommer what a fantastic game he has had.
Spain through to the semifinals.
A lot of insanely bad pens there. Like so many weak efforts, sadly mostly from the Swiss that undone the good work by Sommer. But understandable that the occasion was maybe playing on the Swiss a bit.
More penalties missed than scored lmao
Spain surviving then, but well done to Switzerland taking France and Spain back to back into penalties.
What an awful penalty shootout Spain getting very lucky again, credit to Switzerland though as they already did amazing beating France, lightning striking twice was always a little unlikely.
Swiss prob got to where their level is at they are one of the top sides in Europe at the moment not lowly small Switzerland that some will have you think. They got to the Nations League final as well.
Wish they had beat Spain as can’t warm to Enriques side for some reason.
I support Spain, it's a pity I was unlucky. I hope they will perform well at the World Cup.
