I searched but couldn't seem to find a topic, so sorry if I missed it.
So Daughter's second album 'Not to Disappear' was released on 15th January 2016. Track Listing: 01 New Ways 02 Numbers 03 Doing The Right Thing 04 How 05 Mothers 06 Alone / With You 07 No Care 08 To Belong 09 Fossa 10 Made Of Stone I'm really loving it at the moment. Anyone else a fan? |

I liked Numbers but forgot they released in January at all as it was so early in the year - are their plans for a second single?

The first single was “Doing The Right Thing”, and I believe the new single is “How”.
It is ok, but I can't listen to it all in one go - they haven't been able to top “Youth” which is what I really wanted from them on this album. |

I'm a huge fan of Daughter, I love songs such as Youth, Smother and Landfill so hopefully soon I'll give this a listen, I've had it downloaded for ages but I've never got round to listening to it.

I really like this album, for me it's even better than Youth as it's more lively. Lyrics and vocal work are great as always.
The only trouble I have is the song called "Mothers" - so intimate it just freaks me out. |

big fan of Daughter... yes the new album is not as good as their debut, no Youth in there, but still it's a good album, decent effort... highlights for me, New Ways, Numbers, Alone / With You, No Care...
think How as single 3 is the wrong choice, they should have totally chosen Alone / With You, which would have chosen the more upbeat side of them... either than or No Care... they have so many great songs in their back catalogue already, Landfill, Home, Youth, Shallows, Amsterdam... also a great band to see live, seen them 3 times already, highly recommended |

yes, third single How has been added to radio1's playlist, just like Numbers, to the INMWT list (bizarrely imho, as this is a list for new acts)
