They might include it as they always include Drake on their albums and the song keeps climbing in the shorts. I know for certain that "Fight Song" will be on there

Posted by: bluesunstorm 26th September 2015, 06:43 PM

The artwork is really nice actually. It's similar to Now 89's, but lighter and more eye-catching.

Posted by: ThePensmith 26th September 2015, 06:49 PM

I like the cover. Bit like a love child of Now 56 and 86!

I heavily doubt Infinity will make the tracklist.

They'll be a lot more on air so it will be difficult to predict what will be included imo.

Depends on if any other big hits come out before 6th November. They also have songs which are released on 6th & 13th November to include on the track list so "Infinity" may be saved for NOW 93

Posted by: Froot. 27th September 2015, 03:06 PM

Infinity isn't a single, that's why it won't be included.

It's up to Naughty Boy as he is the lead artist and besides, she recently appeared on The Very Best Of Chilled R&B

I don't think it will be, otherwise Telephone would've been on NOW 75/76.

Posted by: bluesunstorm 28th September 2015, 01:43 AM

I'd include "Cool For the Summer" too, because "Summertime Sadness" appeared on Now 86.

Posted by: Hadji 28th September 2015, 09:43 PM

I imagine there will be a lot of floppage on this album due to the singles chart being very slow

Posted by: Hadji 12th October 2015, 12:47 PM

I fear that there won't be as many songs on the album due to the charts being stale lately with very few top 40 hits

Posted by: Luciano 12th October 2015, 01:16 PM

It will be full of Top 20 smashes.

I don't think that'll happen anymore. Since so many songs do get released now, they may just include more flop pop (which I'm totally okay with, because most flop pop is better than most chart pop).

Hope we get to see Queen of Peace by Flo on there, the NOW team seem to really enjoy her (and so do I). There's gonna be some amazing Number 1's on this album as well like Jess Glynne, Justin Bieber and One Direction.

The only artist I'm not sure will make it will be Sam Smith. Bond songs don't usually end up on NOW albums and his bond theme isn't even in his re-release of his album either.

We might get Sam Smith. We didn't get Adele because she's doing a Beyoncé and refusing to include her music on compilations and we've had Bond themes appearing on compilation albums: Try Hits 7 and NOWs 5, 15, 32 and 39

That's true. Plus other Bond themes have either been minor hits or done by Madonna, therefore no reason/way of getting them on the NOWs. I'm still thinking we're gonna get a new NOW Movies with the amount of successful movie songs that have entered the chart since the release of the compilation.

Posted by: bluesunstorm 13th October 2015, 12:08 AM

Then how come "The World Is Not Enough", "You Know My Name", and "Another Way to Die" never made it onto a Now album? They all charted well. Does the movie studio not want the Bond themes to appear on compilations any longer?

That's a good question. But I don't see why they will refuse to include Sam Smith. They include anything of his on these albums, even it is a flop

Posted by: T Boy 13th October 2015, 06:03 PM

Chris Cornell and Madonna have never featured in the main series though. Garbage have only appeared once in the main series yet haven't with other decent peaking songs. It could all be to do with labels. Or perhaps the studio just want to sell the soundtrack.

Posted by: bluesunstorm 13th October 2015, 06:45 PM

Yes, I think it has to do with the movie studio, because Adele's hit songs always made onto Now albums except for "Skyfall". I wouldn't hold my breath for "Writing's On the Wall" to be on Now 92, but maybe they'll somehow find a way to convince the studio to give them the rights for a change.

If they could do it for Furious 7 they might have a chance. Honestly, after hearing the song I would be more than happy if it didn't make the track listing.

Yes, it's probably the worst Bond theme I've heard. I wish they went with "24" by Lana Del Rey instead.

Because she hasn't released material in three years. Rolling in The Deep did manage NOW 78 and I am sure Someone Like You made the same one "Notorious" by The Sats was on as well, might be wrong.

EDIT: Someone Like You was on NOW79 and Chasing Pavements was on the second disc of NOW69.

EDIT: And Make You Feel My Love on NOW77.

'Set Fire To The Rain' was also on Now 80, so all her big hits apart from 'Skyfall' are on Now albums.

That was when Ashley Abram & Virgin were in charge. Since Jenny Fisher & Sony took over, she has not appeared on one spin-off even though there were spin-offs which she should have appeared on ie NOW Million and NOW Singer so seeing as she hasn't appeared on a spin-off, I fear she won't be on NOW 92

Posted by: bluesunstorm 24th October 2015, 09:57 PM

Does Jenny Fisher have the final say on the tracklists? There's no one above her who could get peeved if she decided to leave Adele off releases? I think the more likely scenario is Adele getting reluctant to release the rights to her songs for use on compilations, like some other artists have. Ironically, it's the artists who are the biggest sellers regardless who are getting stingy about song rights.

Why do you always blame Jenny Fisher?! Adele isn't on a major label, she's on XL Records, an independent record label. Independent record labels can be very protective of their song rights. Plus Adele probably has a say in her song distribution as well. Either way, it's not because Jenny Fisher is boycotting NOW, Adele is just boycotting compilations.

P.S. Jenny Fisher worked on NOW 30 Years (which featured Rolling in the Deep) and NOW No. 1's (which featured Someone Like You).

We'll get Sam Smith. If they include a Florence song which only spent a week in the top 40, then we'll definitely get a Sam Smith song which reached #1. We've had Bond themes on NOWs before: 15, 32 and 39 and HITS 7

The good thing about songs on NOWs being album only is that it stops it from climbing in the charts

I'm not sure if we'll get Hello, seeing as Now 92 is out the same day as 25. It might be on Now 93, or maybe she won't give the rights.

Like "Diamonds" by Rihanna didn't appear on NOW 83 due to "Unapologetic" being released on the same day but saying that, "We Found Love" appeared on NOW 80 although it was released on the same day as "Talk That Talk"

Besides with Sam Smith, they included the album version of LMD on NOW 90 which missed the top 10 instead of the CR version which reached #1

I could live without Sam Smith being on Now 92 tbh.

If Adele and Sam Smith make NOW 92 they'll certainly be the first 2 tracks on Disc 1, but my god, that's quite a depressing start of NOW album. (love the Adele song btw).

I won't blame Jenny Fisher & Sony for lack of artists but I will blame them for milking the series

Brilliant tracklist. Only bad thing about it is no Adele. Glad to see Fetty Wap on there although it should have been on NOW 91. Told you we'd get the James Bond theme. TBC track will be John Lewis Xmas song

Grace? Really?? That song did nothing here laugh.gif

I'm starting to have my doubts about this tracklisting.

Posted by: gooddelta 5th November 2015, 09:09 AM

Ooh, they got the Bond theme! Not surprised at the lack of Adele, not sure if she's not licensing to compilations anymore or if it's just because she wants to maximise opening day sales of 25. Time will tell if it appears on Now 93 I guess.

Grace is a surprise? Is it expected to be a hit imminently?

Wretch 32 and KSI shouldn't be on there as their songs are released next month and new year respectively. No "Hotline Bling" which is Drake's highest charting hit

It's official: http://www.nowmusic.com/now/now-92/?utm_source=social&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=NOW_92

Nice to see some future releases on there actually, although with such a small choice of 'hits' to choose from these days I guess we'll see more unexpected songs on Now albums going forwards.

(Birdy's) Wings is the acoustic version from the advert.

Posted by: Joe. 5th November 2015, 11:21 AM

Decent track list. Great to see Eyes Shut and Love Me Like You on disc 1. Eew at Sam Smith being track 1. TBC will of course be the john lewis song, unless it's tomorrow's Coldplay single.

Posted by: Hadji 5th November 2015, 02:42 PM

I'd replace these songs:

KSI featuring JME - "Keep Up"
Wretch 32 featuring Anne-Marie & PRGRSHN - "Alright With Me"
Grace featuring G-Eazy - "You Don't Own Me"

With these songs:

Adele - "Hello"
Drake - "Hotline Bling"
Fleur East - "Sax"

WHAT at You Don't Own Me ohmy.gif That's crazy but I definitely won't complain!! Big hit here soon please wub.gif

Interesting tracklist. Some great additions. No obvious exclusions (apart from Adele who I didn't think would be on here anyway - wasn't 'Someone Like You' delayed until the Now after?). I guess Drake but I wasn't expecting him to be on there either for some reason.

Nice to see Grace on there!

Posted by: Spiral 5th November 2015, 04:10 PM

If the UK Charts are gonna continue being stale, I guess we can get use to this interesting NOW Track listings. I'm a bit confused why Drake didn't make it, he has appeared before.

But anywho, Years & Years, Justin Beiber, Naughty Boy, Little Mix, Galantis and Arian Grande make this perfect for me! Probably the best NOW for me this year! wub.gif

I assume Now pay a high price to the record companies to get the songs on, and the artist still get the single sales from people cherry picking. It's also exposure as it forces people to check out artists they may not have heard before.

I'm always still surprised at how much these sell and like greatest hits too. I used to buy every one when I was a kid because that was basically the only way to hear all the hits on one cd but nowadays with downloads and streaming I'm shocked the NOW CDs have lasted and sell so much.

The prestige of the brand and knowing that their song will be listened to in peoples homes for years to come.

For the major artists it's a great way for people to become familiar with your hits and think about purchasing/streaming your full album while for smaller artists it's probably quite amazing to have your single catalogued amongst the greats, especially the winter edition which sells over one million copies every year. Multiplying the potential exposure of something like I Need You Now by Agnes by about 100,000 times.

In a way, featuring on a NOW album is the easiest way of an artist to promote a new album, upcoming single or tour. Whilst a TV show like X Factor can bring in a large audience, there's a lot more effort than plonking it on a NOW album, a job which is done by the NOW Team and not the record label itself.

However, there are some issues with this. If a song comes out before a NOW, but the album doesn't come out till the NOW release date, this can cause artists/songs being delayed. Rihanna's "Diamonds" is a very good example. And sometimes labels hold on to rights until they know they made all the money out of it, like Baby One More Time on 44. The lae inclusion just means a few more additional sales.

I hope that make sense. I'm not the best at describing this.

In the case of both I expect Now were just confident that both were going to be hits, based on past form. Even I thought Agnes would have scraped the top 20 with that song.

Do you know any others that were included due to contractural agreements out of interest (Kerri-Ann on Now 40 maybe, what even WAS that?)

Missing out Adele and Drake (presumably they didn't get permission for either of them) really makes this look like a pretty weak tracklist. Grace and KSI are bizarre inclusions but I guess they needed something to fill the space, have there even been 46 new hits since the last Now! album?

Posted by: Cody Slayberry 5th November 2015, 05:22 PM

I'm surprised "Body On Me" isn't on there when they've certainly had enough space to add the new KSI and somehow Grace.

Posted by: Jonjoltergeist👻 5th November 2015, 05:35 PM

Oh yes. How could I forget one of my songs of the year! Poor Rita sad.gif

Posted by: gooddelta 5th November 2015, 05:35 PM

Has a UK push/impact date for the Grace song been announced or do Now have some inside knowledge? Or perhaps it's some sort of deal, a la Fem@il. Or maybe they're just really confident in its chances of being a hit.

With the charts slowing to a stop, maybe it's time for the UK Now's to follow the US counterparts and include some upcoming songs/artists at the end of each disc? Would be quite gratifying if some of them eventually became hits too.

Posted by: Hadji 5th November 2015, 05:53 PM

I don't understand why KSI is on there when the song ain't even out till NYD. They must be scraping the barrel

Posted by: T Boy 5th November 2015, 06:18 PM

Looks ok. Although I mostly buy these to get educated now. I know hardly anything in the second half of disc 2.

Posted by: Jade 5th November 2015, 06:41 PM

I had to do a double-take there after seeing Grace - 'You Don't Own Me'! A bit of a baffling choice but a fabulous song so I'm personally glad to see it making an appearance. I assume there is some kind of release / ad campaign for that on the horizon?

TBA song will be the John Lewis one, I guess? Though I've learnt never to be excited for one of THOSE reveals after last year being Gareth Malone's All Star Choir - 'Wake Me Up' laugh.gif If it really is Aurora they've selected as the TBA track then I see that double BJSC relevance seeping into the compilation *.*

It looks okay on the whole, though HUGE omissions (not in that way!11) by leaving out Adele and Drake, two of the biggest hits for sure since the last release. Hopefully Adele will crop up on Now 93 ~

Your article beat me to the point of Se:Sa on NOW 68. Other odd inclusions for me included Cee Lo's NOW 79 song "I Want You (Hold On to Love)". Was that a hit? The NOW team back then seemed to really enjoy Cee Lo's songs, although I always thought that was a Warner contract agreement or something.

I don't like it that much on a 20 song compilation, as its slim pickings anyway, but I think it would work on a 2 disc album better, especially now the albums are going to be packed with flops anyway.

Germany's Bravo Hits has always been chock full of flops, so we've been lucky with the Now albums that generally they really do get most of the biggest hits. Missing Adele and Drake is a shame but I guess we should be grateful that we get near enough everything else that's smashed recently. Back when Hits provided actual competition quite a lot of major hits were missed off the Now albums.

The acoustic version was what made it a hit though so I think it's fair in this instance.

No, it hasn't been premiered/released yet.

The John Lewis song is "Half The World Away" by AURORA which will be track 18. Also, they shouldn't have missed out "The Hills" which has been in the chart since June. That will be old by the time NOW 93 is released

KSI feat. JME on a Now album. laugh.gif If that can make it on there, i wonder if NOW could found room for some of the big Grime hits of the year like Shutdown, Know Me From or Man Don't Care?

Great to see songs like Trap Queen, In2, Alright With Me and Talk To Me make it. Shame Hotline Bling and The Hills miss out though.

I moved from the UK to Australia a few weeks ago and only just heard You Don't Own Me the other week, it blew me away - it's still being played on radio here and was a #1 hit in Australia a few months ago. Actually astonished to see it on this tracklist ohmy.gif I really hope this means it could be a UK hit as I adore it!! Here it is for your listening pleasure:

There's a fair few songs being played on the radio here which to my knowledge haven't been hits in the UK, I hear both of these all the time, both top 10 Ozzie hits but were never big in the UK, were they?

Then again, Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know' was #1 in Australia months before its UK release, which gives me huge hope for Grace biggrin.gif

I'd read it before somewhere, or it was in my head, but can't remember where from!

I seem to recall there weren't many No.1's on Now 52 either, the Hits albums were getting a LOT of the major hits as exclusives in the early 00s, partly because all the Pop Idol contestants were on a label Now didn't have access to iirc.

These songs:

Grace featuring G-Eazy - You Don't Own Me
Years & Years - Eyes Shut
The Vamps - Wake Up
Silentó - Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)
KSI featuring JME - Keep Up
Wretch 32 featuring Anne-Marie & PRGRSHN - Alright With Me

Should be replaced with these songs:

Adele - Hello
Drake - Hotline Bling
Fleur East - Sax
Natalie La Rose featuring Fetty Wap - Around The World
Rita Ora featuring Chris Brown - Body On Me
The Weeknd - The Hills

Other than that, I'm glad they filled the CD up instead of leaving a massive gap like they did with NOW 91. Also, I'm surprised "Photograph" has been edited down as they usually leave all of Ed Sheeran's songs in full

Posted by: Dobbo 12th November 2015, 07:56 PM

Posted by: Hadji 18th November 2015, 09:15 PM

"You Don't Own Me" appears on the House Of Fraser Xmas ad which is probably the reason they decided to include it on NOW 92. CD 1 is light blue with yellow snowflakes and CD 2 vice versa. It's on their Instagram page

And sometimes labels hold on to rights until they know they made all the money out of it, like Baby One More Time on 44. The lae inclusion just means a few more additional sales.

I assumed that Baby One More Time taking so long to appear on a Now was connected with the equally late appearances of 'Tragedy', 'That Don't Impress Me Much' and 'Kiss Me' on the same volume - a few really massive megahits all held back for Now 44 so it sold more copies for the millennium, basically a mini best of the year rather than just the usual late summer/autumn period. Given how much that one sold it was clearly a good decision.

Posted by: gavindeejay 19th November 2015, 10:45 AM

Another few late features on Now albums I can think of were:-

All Saints - Pure Shores - featured on Now 47, released before Now 45 in Feb 2000.
Westlife - Uptown Girl - featured on Now 50, released before Now 48 in March 2001.

I'll be interested to see the opening sales of this album, it feels like the least hyped winter Now release in quite some time, perhaps because it's getting overshadowed completely by Adele. Still, it's No.4 on Amazon right now, behind the Elvis album, which has already been out three weeks, and the Coldplay pre-order.

Part of me wonders if it's because of the increasingly slower chart, leading to the inclusion of quite a few flops and WTF moments. A lot of people will look at the tracklisting and wonder what on earth they've been drinking at Now HQ, probably not realising that actually there have probably only been about 30 bona fide smashes since the last Now album, about 7 of which they couldn't get the rights for.

Posted by: Hadji 20th November 2015, 11:24 PM

If they didn't keep coming up with these unnecessary spin-offs, the albums in the main series would have even bigger sales

I feel the same Rich, and the fact there are so few tracks in the top 100 on iTunes kind of says it all.

Posted by: gooddelta 20th November 2015, 11:46 PM

I also feel like Writing's On The Wall is the wrong song to lead the album, I can see why they've done it - it's an exclusive song and the first Bond theme to hit #1 in the UK etc but in terms of cultural impact, Justin and Adele have dominated the last couple of months. They couldn't get Adele so really Justin should have got the pimp slot.

The Rachel Platten write up in the book is laughable too, Jenny Fisher clearly couldn't be arsed to do any research about poor Rachel, probably with the assumption that she's going a near guaranteed one hit wonder, bless ha.

KSI's #45 smasha gets three lines while Rachel gets 'Fight Song was a top ten track in various countries, and reaching the top spot in the UK' laugh.gif

Yeah 'Hello' was made for Disc 1 Track 1, even the name fits. It's a big shame they couldn't get it.

What's the writeup for You Don't Own Me? Does it mention the TV advert or just "Here's a random hit from Australia that might be big here in a few weeks"?

Now 93 is looking to have an early release because of the early Easter next year - probably around the middle of March, making it the earliest Spring Now since 2008's Now 69. Difficult to know yet if they'll have enough hits to fill the album between now and then.

It mentions the advert. Doesn't say it's already topped the charts in Aus, which I thought it might have done. Without a radio push it probably won't make the top 75, so praying it gets some support!

I guess it's a 4 month gap, much like the gap between the summer and winter releases, so it will probably be a similar scenario. 25-28 top ten hits and a load of flops/songs from successful albums/guesses at future hits.

In The WSTRN write-up, it says the band 'converge at the butterscotch border of good melody and vibe'. Does this actually mean anything? I've never heard the word butterscotch used in such a way before, but not sure if it's just something really obvious that I'm not familiar with laugh.gif

Also, the tracklist info is here: http://www.nowmusic.com/now-92-info/

Interesting to see MNEK & Zara reverse credited in Ireland (and probably everywhere else in the world too, I guess MNEK is a bigger name in the UK). Not sure why this info wasn't published in the booklet this time, I guess so they had more advertising space for other products in the NOW brand, I didn't even realise info like this was allowed to be left off compilations, but there must be some loophole that says it's ok as long as buyers can access the details online.

Still made Now 91 used a weirdly shortened version of Shine, which was even shorter than the radio edit.

This has got to be the first time in ages that none of the current UK top four have been on the Now album on release week. Also none of the current sales chart top five - it sort of makes the album seem like it's missing the up to the minute relevance that the Now series usually has.

I'm so curious to see what this is set to sell in the first week, I guess the winter release will always sell by the bucketload regardless due to people buying it as a Xmas present for family members.

But don't forget that this album is also being overshadowed by Adele. I'd be surprised if it still manages to sell nearly 300k by Friday

Still made Now 91 used a weirdly shortened version of Shine, which was even shorter than the radio edit.

And that's the version which will be appearing on NOW Party Anthems

It's not. They're using the actual Radio Edit, The Now 91 version was a weird version I'd never heard anywhere that cut the best part of the song. I assume Now 91 meant to use the version that's on Party Anthems, it was probably a mistake.

Thanks for the explanations the other day! I ordered Now 92 yesterday... believe it or not that makes it my first Now purchase since Now 62 (from November 2005, so 10 years ago). ohmy.gif

Now more than ever I'm streaming songs on Spotify and not buying as many, so the majority of the tracks that are included I don't have on iTunes. I bought it for Ł10 (in the "buy a chart album & buy Now for Ł10" deal). A lot cheaper than if I'd downloaded the songs legally when they were released.

I own these Now albums: 39, 46, 47, 48, 50, 52, 56, 57 & 62.

By the way, does anyone have a list of all (or some) first week sales of Now albums?

It was the version from the Channel 4 advert (#ChooseLight, #ChooseDark, #ChooseShadow)

Oh yes, it was. I still think they probably chose the wrong version for the album.

Agreed. I could understand for Lullaby since there was no room on the album, but on Disc 1 there was plenty of room for the full 4:17 version to fit. It's the same for Writing's On The Wall and Photograph on this album (48 and 37 seconds add up to 1:25, which added to 1:18:27 is 1:19:52, which means there was enough room for the full version)

Also, how come is Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better) listed at 4:02 long? I don't think such a version exists.

NOW 91 cut out the instrumental which appears inbetween the third verse and the chorus

Sorry to be a grammar Nazi but I just bought Now 92 and the grammatical errors in the write up are appalling!! Do they not get anyone to proof read it before it goes to the publishers? unsure.gif

Posted by: Christmas Jay 28th December 2015, 12:27 AM

I've noticed that these songs are shorter on Now 92 than how they were released:

Sam Smith - Writing's On The Wall
Now 92: 3:49
Normal version: 4:39

AURORA - Half the World Away
Now 92: 3:06
Normal version: 3:19

5 Seconds of Summer - She's Kinda Hot
Now 92: 3:15
Normal version: 3:39

Posted by: JosephCarey 28th December 2015, 12:29 AM

I'd imagine the 5SOS one cuts out the guitar solo between the chorus and "sometimes I'm feeling like I'm going insane"? That's the version Radio 1 played at least heehee.gif

Posted by: Taylor Jago 28th December 2015, 12:47 AM

I've just heard the 4:02 version of Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better). The 56 seconds added are an utter waste of time and space.

Ooh, it is! biggrin.gif

Taylor I don't know this for sure, but I think the 4:02 version was originally on the CD single of 'Ain't Nobody' (released in Germany)?

I guessing with the way the charts are right now, Now 93 will be pretty awful.

And let us not forget another thing making the albums awful is when they're missing out big songs or big artists for eg. Adele, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Zedd. NOW 92 may have sold more if "Hello", "Sorry" or "Hotline Bling" we're on there

Assuming they add relatively popular new (in this case, released november~ date) songs, they're surely not going to have much choice seeing as there has been an incredibly low amount of new music released in the past month or so..

Off the top of my head I can only think of around 20 songs that have been enough of a hit to be considered onto NOW.

Posted by: lewistgreen 28th December 2015, 07:34 PM

Guys we still have 3 months and an empty release schedule with OA/OS dominating now, so who knows what hits will surface over the coming weeks!

Posted by: bluesunstorm 28th December 2015, 08:04 PM

True, but with the recent charity and winner's singles, and the likes of Justin Bieber clogging up the charts, I don't think it will be as good as the installments from 2015. I'll always say I'll stop buying the Now series, but I always keep buying them, mostly because I can't be bothered to purchase all the random dance hits separately. I usually own the albums of the pop hits I want to own already.

I'm looking forward to NOW 93. Since this is the time when the charts become stale it's interesting to see what the NOW team will add to the next track listing. It's a reason why I loved NOW 90, so many flops and mini-hits, but still quite impressive.

Yeah, the thing is flop pop is often so much better than the actual hits we get.

Well NOW 93 should hopefully at least get the following songs:

• Adele - Hello [maybe they'll get the rights to this now that '25' has been released and sold bucketloads. they added 'Someone Like You' 2 editions after it went to #1 so it could be a similar situation with this]
• Justin Bieber - Sorry / Love Yourself
• Sigala - Sweet Lovin'
• One Direction - History
• Stormzy - Shut Up
• Coldplay - Adventure Of A Lifetime
• Fleur East - Sax
• 99 Souls - The Girl Is Mine
• Shawn Mendes - Stitches
• Sigma feat. Rita Ora - Coming Home
• Major Lazer feat. Nyla & Fuse ODG - Light It Up
• Jess Glynne - Take Me Home
• Little Mix feat. Jason Derulo - Secret Love Song
• Nathan Sykes - Over and Over Again
• The Weeknd - The Hills (probably too late for this, maybe they could get In The Night if that smashes)
• Drake - Hotline Bling (probably too late for this too)

that's nearly a whole CD and they've still got a few months to make the tracklist, I'm sure NOW 93 will still be largely made up of actual hits.

Posted by: Hadji 29th December 2015, 03:22 PM

"The Hills" actually succeeds "Can't Feel My Face". NOW 57 U.S. will most likely get "The Hills". Other songs we could get on NOW 93 include:

Kygo featuring Maty Noyes - "Stay" (if it eventually goes top 40)
Louisa Johnson - "Forever Young"
Snakehips featuring Tinashe & Chance The Rapper - "All My Friends" (if it eventually goes top 40)
One Direction - "Perfect"
Robin Schulz featuring Francesco Yates - "Sugar"
NHS Choir - "A Bridge Over You"
Zara Larsson - "Lush Life"
Fetty Wap featuring Monty - "679"
David Guetta featuring Sia & Fetty Wap - "Bang My Head" (if it eventually goes top 40)
Craig David & Big Narstie - "When The Bassline Drops" (if it eventually goes top 40)

To that list I'd add:
• The Lewisham & Grenwich NHS Choir - A Bridge Over You (this will be the last track on its disc, whichever it is)
• One Direction - Perfect
• Stormzy - Shut Up (they included Keep Up on Now 92 and that wasn't even a hit)
• Louisa Johnson - Forever Young
• Robin Schulz feat. Francesco Yates - Sugar
• Fetty Wap feat. Remy Boyz - 679 (they included Trap Queen on Now 92)
• Justin Bieber - I'll Show You and Company (four Bieber songs on one album is probably a bit excessive, but at this point it happening wouldn't surprise me in the slightest)
• One Direction - Infinity (three One Direction song on one album is probably too much, but they'll likely be clutching at any top 40 hit, and it would be a nice send-out for what probably will be their final appearance on a regular Now!
• Zara Larsson - Lush Life (if it's a hit)
• Elle King - Ex's & Oh's (if it's a hit)
• Sia - Alive (it could rebound with the album release)
• Years & Years - TBA
• Adele - When We Were Young
• James Bay - If You Ever Want To Be In Love
• DJ Fresh & High Contrast feat. Dizzee Rascal - How Love Begins

Posted by: Spiral 29th December 2015, 03:44 PM

Now that the Bieber album has been released I can see him having a double appearance on NOW 93 with Love Yourself & Sorry (they are Number 1's after all). Really unsure about Hello though, but I thought that about "Someone Like You" and "Set Fire..." so she could be included.

Also quick question about NOW92. Why does Zara Larsson have a "*" next to her name on the back cover?

Posted by: Dan_ 29th December 2015, 05:01 PM

I really doubt they'd be including 1D and Bieber album tracks even though they went top 40. Also it's very unlikely that 'Forever Young' will get an inclusion considering it'll be long gone and forgotten about by the time of the album's release. Same with 'A Bridge Over You' though they could include it just to boost the amount of #1s on the CD (one of the points they like to brag about)

Posted by: gooddelta 29th December 2015, 05:05 PM

Military Wives and Justice Collective both appeared so I imagine NHS Choir will too, especially as it was Xmas #1. I do expect Louisa to appear too, even if it's the last track on CD 2 (lets face it, NHS and Louisa will be slapped next to each other at the end of one of the discs).

Posted by: Hadji 2nd January 2016, 08:45 PM

My reckoning is that NOW 93 will be released on 18th March
