Good afternoon. Votes from 65 people have been counted and together with Joseph I'll be counting the results down over today and tomorrow.

Reminder of the songs:

Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do
Years & Years - King
Sam Smith feat. John Legend - Lay Me Down
Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand
Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth - See You Again
OMI - Cheerleader
Jason Derulo - Want To Want Me
Tinie Tempah feat. Jess Glynne - Not Letting Go
Lost Frequencies - Are You With Me
David Zowie - House Every Weekend
Little Mix - Black Magic
One Direction - Drag Me Down
Charlie Puth feat. Meghan Trainor - Marvin Gaye
Jess Glynne - Don't Be So Hard On Yourself
Rachel Platten - Fight Song
Justin Bieber - What Do You Mean?
Sigala - Easy Love
Sam Smith - Writing's On The Wall
KDA feat. Tinie Tempah & Katy B - Turn The Music Louder (Rumble)
Adele - Hello
Justin Bieber - Sorry
Justin Bieber - Love Yourself
Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir - A Bridge Over You

One has finished with negative points, even lower than the -60 achieved by Gareth Malone's choir last year :') A further three songs didn't make it to 1000 and the top 2 both ended on over 4000 with almost 800 points between them.

23 -120 The Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir - A Bridge Over You

Our Christmas #1 didn't fare too well in this game, receiving only one positive score of +10 from Griff. Every other score it got was the optional -10, resulting in a very clear last placer. The two year old charity single managed to beat Justin Bieber's Love Yourself to the top spot quite comfortably in the end, before it broke the record drop from #1, falling to #29 in Friday's chart.

22 190 Sam Smith feat. John Legend - Lay Me Down

Another charity single now, this time from Buzzjack favourite Sam Smith. Lay Me Down was re-recorded with the CHART SAVIOUR himself, John Legend, for 2015's Comic Relief single. It shot to #1, and was annoyingly not combined with the original, leading to both this version and the original charting in the top 40 at the same time.

21 250 Sam Smith - Writing's On The Wall

Look who it isn't biggrin.gif Sam Smith got a second #1 in 2015, his fifth overall, with his James Bond theme song. Writing's on the Wall became the first EVER jameela.jpg Bond theme to top the chart, knocking Justin Bieber's What Do You Mean? off the top spot (before Justin knocked Sam back off the week after). The song seems to divide opinion, some enjoying it with others finding it dreary. I'm kind of in the middle really, depends on my mood.

Really hoping 'Not Letting Go' will at least go to the upper half of the table! But I was cruising through the votes and I fear it didn't fare really well...

20 580 Charlie Puth feat. Meghan Trainor - Marvin Gaye

Our fourth song to fail to amass 1000 points is the flawless "Marvin Gaye" which racked up a load of hatred - -10 from twelve people! I get that the lyrics are cringe and that Meghan in general is poor but I genuinely love this, it's catchy and they make such a great pairing.

19 1120 One Direction - Drag Me Down

"Drag Me Down", the lead single from the 5th and last album from 1D before they split, is next, as usual not making much of an impact here though it is seemingly more appreciated than "Little Things" or "One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)". Another great song and I'm pleased they achieved another #1 to go out on a high, debuting there with a surprise OA/OS release.

18 1190 Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth - See You Again

Hii again Charlie. Doing almost as badly as Mr Smith. Less downright hatred and perhaps a more 'meh' reaction to this Paul Walker tribute which soundtracked the 7th movie in the Fast & Furious franchise. Not a fan of the films but another song that I really really like (although not as good as the Miley song of the same title which is a total flat-out jam x)

How in the HELL did Lay Me Down get POSITIVE points?

That next three are probably the most underrated songs on the site. THE CHARLIE PUTH HATE NEEDS TO STOP PEOPLE.

Going good for now. But See You Again deserves higher placing.

This is going well so far. Particularly glad to see the horrendous 'Marvin Gaye' out puke.gif Neither of those artists should be a thing, let alone when combined together!

Everything's that gone so far have all been some of the weaker #1s admittedly, so I'm glad people are all on the same board at the moment.

17 1430 Justin Bieber - Love Yourself

Criminally low is the third Justin Bieber #1 of 2015, the Ed Sheeran co-write Love Yourself. The song is a notable change in pace compared to his previous #1s, being an acoustic guitar ballad where Justin talks about how a girl seems more interested in herself than him. The song failed to make the Christmas #1 but has spent a total of four weeks at #1 so far and likely to get at least one more this coming Friday!

16 1460 Tinie Tempah feat. Jess Glynne - Not Letting Go

Tinie managed to score his sixth UK #1 with Not Letting Go earlier this year, fending off tough competition from Lost Frequencies' Are You With Me. The latter climbed to #1 the following week and is ahead here. Jess Glynne scored her fourth #1 with it. Both managed to get a further #1 in 2015 (plus Jess had Hold My Hand) and they're still to come in the countdown. I quite like the song but it's not either of their best. Oh and down with the horrible woman.

I'm disappointed Not Letting Go isn't higher, I'd rank it 10th. See You Again should be higher aswell, and Writing's On The Wall shouldn't be that low.

Other than those three, they're all on the lower end of the spectrum. And yahoo.gif to that dreadful NHS Choir mess coming dead last.
