Okay, I'm going to have a listen to this but everything I've heard so far has been extremely underwhelming. Hoping for another Top-10-of-the-year type that 'Confess To Me' was. Or we can settle ( :') ) on a 'White Noise' tbh.

I'm giving Caracal a whirl right now. With all the songs together, it sounds pretty impressive! It's odd because I've been pretty underwhelmed since Holding On surfaced, but now .
EDIT: The tracks the lads sing on are stunning, particularly Molecules *.* This post has been edited by lewistgreen: 24th September 2015, 04:49 PM |

It really is a very good album but unfortunately for them they set the bar so high with 'Settle' and this just can't match it at all.
I do like how great their pop sensibilities are, and there really is some great pop melodies throughout, but the grit and rawness that 'Settle' possessed is definitely missing here. It is just a little too overly glossy for what I look for in a Disclosure album. That said, I am loving 'Hourglass', 'Magnets', 'Jaded', 'Good Intentions' and 'Superego' millions |

Disclosure are at their best when they are crafting out and out house music, the 3am sort. It is a GREAT album, but "Settle" is a feat too little out of reach of eclipsing. |

FFS, just got a message from YPlan saying I won tickets for their gig at the Apple Music Festival and I can't go because I'm not in London tonight.
FML. All the pejorative acronyms!! |

I don't know why every song has it's own thread haha so I'll just post in here that 'Magnets' is possibly my favourite of the era.
Overall, another very strong album! |

I reckon this'll be a real grower of an album. It's nice listening at first, but nothing special by any means in the music scene dominated by dance music now. "Hourglass" stands out as the strongest track not only on this album but I dare say their discography entirely - instrumental is just superb!

It's a decent album, only Holding On and Omen are outstanding. Superego is the best album track by a mile, it's the only thing here that's sonically adventurous. Magnets is pretty good too. 7.5/10 all told.

Hourglass and Magnets are amazing, both easily hold up against the best of Settle Overall though it's nowhere near as good as Settle which was one of my favourite albums of 2013, I agree it's just missing that unique spark that Settle had, but it's still a good listen!

In agreement that this isn't quite measuring up to 'Settle' as a whole quite yet. Still, their sound remains so fresh and addictive.
Aside from already loving the singles, 'Magnets' and 'Superego' are everything, so lush |

I just can't see beyond Magnets at the moment, the rest of the album is okay to good but Magnets is just another level of amazing.
