I get 2-0 is a dangerous scoreline, but to revert to playing so badly in the second half vs the first half proposal, it does reek a lot of protecting what you have rather than delivering the killer blow. Often happens with England. A different night and we draw that game, when Italy should have been buried in the first half.

Mind you had the Villa version of Grealish arrived at the scene rather than the City version, we'd be 3-0 and game over at HT.

Also, brutal result for Iceland as the continue to head back towards being minnows again.

Your playing Italy in Naples, one of the hardest tasks in international football, it’s a great result. I don’t know if England fans expect to win every game 3-0 or something 🤔

I think a lot of people thought that Belgium would begin to struggle now but it was great win away at Sweden. Netherlands had quite a few big stars missing yesterday. I think they will still be fine when they get everyone back.
