Yes he came behind from 2 sets down against Kevin Anderson but the only other set he dropped was the second in the final vs. Federer.

Djokovic is looking unbeatable again. Very hard to see past him. I'm starting to come round to his style of play though after dismissing it as a bit clinical. So apparently this was a bit premature. Querrey was very impressive holding his own in the 4th set so well-deserved victory. Not going to call anything now but that's going to make Federer and Murray fight a lot harder. |

That's Wimbledon over for me for another year with Watson, Robson and most importantly Lisicki crashing out. Unless any of them mount a run in the doubles but I don't believe any of them are seeded in that so I doubt it!

Annoying that after Djokovic lost. I found was Sue Barker and other pundits like Tim Henman speculating that Djokovic was ill. Querrey was the better player on the day and even Djokovic mentioned that himself in his post-match interview. Never saw this coming. An massive upset indeed. I think Djokovic was 1-25 to win the match.
Also Kvitova is out. I wouldn't say its a forgone conclusion that it will be an Murray v Federer final. Could be another surprise or two. |

There's no way it'll be as simple as that - might find a new star breaking through - would love Murray or especially federer to win - was gutted when he lost in the final last year!

Murray vs Federer looks like it SHOULD be on the cards, but who knows. It would make a great final again, but a long way to go yet.
As for Djokovic, he just didn't look right. He completely lost his head. I think mentally he really struggled, but it happens to all athletes - they're only human so they're allowed an off day every once in a while. |

Nice seeing Isner continue to do an Isner and provide the long game but I'm glad Tsonga got through over that, he's more of an entertaining player most of the time. Plus we still have Mahut kicking around (and probably sitting pretty getting to face Querrey next).

Both Williams sisters through to the semis...it's like the early 00s again I don't know if Venus will go all the way to the final as Kerber will be tough, but I'd love to see it happen. Don't imagine Serena will have too much trouble getting there.

I would like to see the other two women from the semis to make it in for variety's sake (and I rather like Kerber so her to win), but I can't deny the nostalgia of a Williams/Williams final would be quite strong.
No real hard games in the quarters, but I'm surprised to see Vesnina make it this far, she had a relatively easy ride to the semis but looking at her past record it's really above and beyond anything she's done before. |

I would love to see another all-Williams final but I think Kerber is too strong for Venus. Never write off Venus Williams at all.
I'd hope that Tsonga does push Murray in the quarters. Murray hasn't very been probably tested yet. Some intriguing matches tomorrow. This was pretty extraordinary: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/36711563 |

Think Tsonga could beat Murray, have a feeling the new generation are going to push through this year!
I thought Venus had retired lol - when was the last time she has done so well in a grand slam or been in the Wimbledon final? |

But Tsonga is even older than Murray!
It does feel like soon there will be youth pushing through. Such has been the dominance of the Big 4 (and in recent times simply just Djokovic) on the men's side there's been no sign of any future potential young champions. Kyrgios has bags of talent but a poor attitude & Dimitrov has disappointed after the initial hype. I'd keep an eye on Raonic though I'd say he's the next most likely to win a Slam in the future. |

I thought Venus had retired lol - when was the last time she has done so well in a grand slam or been in the Wimbledon final? Venus was last in a grand slam semi-final at the 2010 US Open. She was last in the final of Wimbledon in 2009 (won it in 2008). She's made 3 quarter-finals since being diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome (and won an Olympic gold medal in the Women's doubles with Serena). |

Insane comeback from R-Fed today from 2 sets down, maybe this really could be his last hurrah?

It could be if he plays like that.
Into an fourth set now between Murray and Tsonga. |

I think Raonic could possibly beat Federer in the semis if he maintains the form he's been in although if Federer plays like he did today then it would be another final for the great man.
I expect Serena to go through tomorrow comfortably and a close game between Venus and Kerber, I think Kerber will win in three sets. |

Brilliant from Murray. He may have caved in about 5 years ago dropping 2 sets like that but he ran riot in the 5th to dispel any concerns. I would absolutely love Federer to win it this year though I think with Novak out it's his final genuine chance at a Slam.
I also think Kerber will win the whole thing on the Women's side. Some force field seems to be preventing Serena from equalling Graf's Grand Slam record... |
