I thought this chart would be interesting smile.gif .

I don't know how representative it is, but you get an idea of just how much albums are selling around the world.

Look at that total for Stromae ohmy.gif , and I doubt there's anything from the UK or US in his figure.

Stromae's numbers are amazing!!! A large chunk of it is obviously from French sales, as the album was number 1 for plenty of weeks!!!!

I can't take Media Traffic's "Track Chart" seriously though.

Ariana not even breaking 300k WW? This has to be a let down for her investors.

It annoys me that Stromae can show such amazing popularity and yet Anglophone countries just refuse to pay attention. He clearly has potential to sell a lot drama.gif

He'd have a better chance if some of the tracks were in English.

He actually tried to push 'Papaoutai' (huge smash in Europe) in the UK, and he gave some interviews about how they're trying to make Anglophone countries see that foreign language music should be given just as much attention as English music, but it just didn't do anything sad.gif English-speaking countries are far too sheltered.

Seems like Ariana collapsed everywhere. Nice to see Lana cross 1 million, though that should have happened a long time ago sad.gif

She could end up passing 4 million... maybe. Depends if 'This Is How We Do' is the end of the era or not.

About 1.5m of that total is from the US. How much has she sold in the UK?

The UK seems to be the place where her sales have fallen off the most. Not even 'Dark Horse' could do much for her sales there.

That leaves 1.4m sales outside the UK & US - that's pretty impressive.

Seems like Ariana's biggest 'Problem' is her lack of album sales. kink.gif
