Now I thought a song on the A-list was guaranteed 25 plays, 13 plays for B-list and 8 plays for C-list. However, this shows that an A-list song that week actually got anywhere between 18 and 27 plays, and a B-list song got anywhere between 10 and 18 plays. Some C-list songs didn't even get 7 plays. And 'FourFiveSeconds' got 12 plays before it was even playlisted!

Is that definitely supposed to be a 'guarantee' or just a guideline? Looks much more like the latter to me tongue.gif

I always thought it was a guarantee but it's clearly more of a guideline (and a very loose one at that)

So even though that sounds like it's a guarantee of number of plays, it's obviously not.

Wow capital finally moving onto November hits to too their most played chart haha Ronson will be no1 next then Ellie in April!!

On the topic of playlist rotation an A list track can get the same amount as a blist track or a clist track can get as many spins as a blist track and so forth. Even when it's on the A/B list it's plays will peak with the week before the song is released generally.
