Just been to the cinema to see this and it was excellent! So tense and gripping. One of my favourite, pure thrillers in a while! Some brutal stuff. Amazing performances by the entire cast I thought!

8.2 on IMDB | 73/100 on Metacritic | 81% on Rotten Tomatoes

All very deserved imo.

This was absolutely brilliant. I was worried at first the running time would put me off, but every minute is used excellently and just keeps you on the edge of the seat for the whole thing. I genuinely couldn't predict what was gonna happen next, I could never have guessed who the kidnapper was and was even thinking 'OK, they're never gonna get them back are they?'

Yeah this was fantastic, definitely in my top movies of the year so far, so gripping, tense, emotional and yet hard to watch at the same time due to the subject. Absolutely amazing performances from Hugh and Jake in particular!

Anyone seen this thriller then, about a guy who's little girl's abducted with another girl and he kidnaps the main suspect?

Never heard of it before but gets the full 5 stars in my TV guide and also 8.1 on IMDB and other rave reviews around the net with, it says, lots of twists and turns.

Tonight, Sunday, Film 4 at 10.55pm and goes on until 2am.

This movie deserved SO much more, awards wise. The direction, cinematography and of course the acting! The biggest snub of the Decade for me. Hugh's scene where he's identifying his girls clothes is my favourite performance in a scene in any movie this Decade I think. So heartbreaking sad.gif

Thanks for the merge mods. Didn't know there was already a thread.

Really looking forward to this tonight. Should stay awake as just slept 5 hours this afternoon!

Excellent film. Didn't think they'd get both back alive. Thought the second girl would be dead.
