Sounds more like song clips than a proper song, so I'm not sure WHAT is coming out on May 5th? Anyway, second half is better.

when she said "i want to be seen as a singer/songwriter not a pop artist" it definitely shows here. it seems to have been the first precedent before the music and therefore comes off jarring and contrived. not happy.

I don't know about this either. This just seems a really muted return whereas Get Some really trumpeted the start of the Wounded Rhymes era.

'I Never Learn' is absolutely sublime. Song of 2014 so far for sure.
'No Rest for the Wicked' is great too. Not too sure about 'Love Me Like I'm Made of Stone' but it's growing. Just so NASAL in places. Slightly sad there are only six songs from the album we're yet to hear now! |
