Nahhh 'only you' is quite similar in vein to 'side to side' and 'funeral' is uptempo whereas 'i can't fall in love with you' is piano led

I don't love this album really. It's a bit of a mish mash of sounds and there's no stand out singles apart from Symphony on a first listen.

Based upon first impression!
06/10 What They Say [This seems like an album closer rather than an album opener, it's a cute song with nice lyrics] 11/10 Lush Life 09/10 I Would Like 07/10 So Good (feat. Ty Dolla $ign) [Arguably one of the worst songs on the album, incredibly surprised this was chosen as a single considering the other options] 06/10 Too Good For Me 06/10 Only You 10/10 Never Forget You (with MNEK) [Still an absolute bop] 08/10 Sundown (feat. Wizkid) Wizkid ruins this completely, I can see this being a minor summer smash. 06/10 Don't Let Me Be Yours 08/10 Make That Money [Wasnt anywhere near as cringe as what I thought it would be, it's a good album song and you can tell the Beyoncé influence] 10/10 Ain't My Fault [Frustrates me how under appreciated this actually was, it still sounds incredibly unique and fresh every time I listen] 09/10 One Mississippi [Oh this is actually beautiful, I wasn't a fan based on live performances but I really loved the studio version] 09/10 Funeral [Eventually hearing this! It's f***ing amazing] 09/10 I Can't Fall In Love Without You [This will be the next single following Symphony and will be released with Ed Sheeran. It's actually a beautiful ballad, although the lyrics will have to be changed] 10/10 Symphony (with Clean Bandit) YES! It's just a shame that she's being listed as a feature, I'm guessing when she promotes the album in the U.K she will promote So Good because it's weird to launch an album as a feature? I just wish Wanna and Permission made the album I just wish she went pure pop on her debut album as that's what the general public want / here for! |

It's a good album but I was kinda hoping for better based on the singles
Hoping it can grow! The final three songs are perfect though

I love the album, but I don't see how Permission/Wanna/Push Pull didn't make it! They are all better than a lot of the tracks. TG4M, I Can't Fall In Love Without You and Symphonies are the highlights for me. All singles, Sundown and Funeral also top.
