I thought this deserved its own thread away from the 'Sweetener / Thank U, Next' tour as it's a pretty big deal in itself!
It's a little over 2 months now until Ariana Grande will be performing for Manchester again, this time in the name of Pride as a headliner.
Are you planning to go? Do you support this move from her? What do you want her to perform?

I'm personally not going (I've been interested in going to some kind of pride event for years as an ally with my LGBTQ+ friends though) but that line-up does look pretty amazing - Ariana, Basement Jaxx, Faithless etc *.* There was some backlash about the announcement but Ari is a well documented LGBTQ+ ally so I think it feels appropriate for her to be headlining, especially considering the location. It would be amazing to see her singing 'no tears left to cry' just because that song is so full of hope. I think 'Break Your Heart Right Back' would also be an inspired setlist inclusion (in the sense that it's a pretty old song in her repertoire) for the 'I'm Coming Out' sample and subject matter.
(I do hope that Manchester fans get at least one more event though as previously mentioned in the other tour thread)
I would go but it's crazy expensive and I'm already seeing Ari in Sheffield & Birmingham .
While Manchester is so much easier for me to get to than Birmingham, I couldn't justify going to this as I wouldn't go usually and I feel it would be wrong and against the spirit of the event to do so just to see her.
I remember she did mention of twitter a few months ago that she was going to announce something else during pride. I don't know whether that's still happening or not. She did recently announce new US shows so hopefully she might do one in Manchester.
It seems like she's only doing HALF AN HOUR for Manchester Pride! Really gutted!!
No way?!?!?!
I don't know if people are trolling or not, but it's what I've seen on Twitter .
i saw a few days ago that she was apparently doing 7 songs but i thought they were trolling!!
I’d have thought 30/45 minutes seemed quite normal tbh because of how many acts are on the bill.
I wasn’t expecting it to be length of the arena shows.
So wish I was there though
That line up is crazy good, I can only dream of going though!
Mostly here for Four Of Diamonds behind Ariana and I'm not ashamed to say it.

Ariana set is being cut short due to the demand of a longer Pixie set
Hope everyone seeing her today has the best time
She was absolutely incredible, she was so overwhelmed it seemed but she put on such a good show! Highlights being 'One Last Time' and '7 Rings'!
Also, Cheryl f***ing KILLED IT and I'm not even a fan! I was so shocked! Bananarama bored the life out of me and Tulisa/Becky Hill were really good too - especially the N-Dubz medley - iconic!
i’m so glad she did one last time
ari was incredible. so glad she did brought one last time back, was such a moment. the whole set just gave me such feeing of togetherness and like we're all in this together which i think is gonna be the case any time she plays in mcr now. no word on if she's coming back for any other mcr dates i thought she was meant to be announcing something @ pride..?
Glad you guys had such a good experience of seeing her <3 to add on to what Lee said above, I saw on Twitter that admission to the area where Ariana was singing at closed at 7pm or something, for security reasons, so some people who paid for tickets didn't even get to see her?! Oh nooo
The 'One Last Time' clips that are floating around are stunning
Cheryl doing GA songs and Tulisa N-Dubz ones omg what kind of paradise
The people complaining about the 7pm restriction are doing the MOST. They advertised as clearly as they could everywhere that they wouldn't let anyone in past 7pm, so I don't get why they're moaning?!
It was organised really well and it's just the GP moaning for the sake of moaning yet again.
@jack ( the quoting thing hasf***ed up for some reason)
also, c'mon, if you're gonna be there for ariana, who is not only the main act but also the one you'd get in there for to have a few bevvies and scout the area out a bit and find a spot, surely you're gonna get there by 7 anyway. these ppl complaining about coming from like glasgow... if you were that dedicated to get a tick and train you'd surely wanna be there early anyway??
Thanks guys for clearing that up!
I kept seeing tweets like "the security was sooo bad" and people had "no way of knowing" about the 7pm thing so it's clearly just people being salty and exaggerating.
Regarding the folk complaining about not getting in after 7: it’s their own bloody fault for not having the correct appreciation for the legendary Pixie Lott and amazing Becky Hill tbh
You’d be there on time anyways though wouldn’t you?
It’s rare you’d go to all day event what you’ve paid for like more than half way through the beginning of it.
I wish I was there but I’m hopeful I will eventually see her. I’d already seen Cheryl and Pixie live before but with Ariana I’d much rather have went to one of her tour dates rather than pride just to get the whole experience.
