Well, there's been such a burning need for an A Dal thread that it's taken until the fourth show (Semi One) for anyone to make a thread on it! This won the Semi last night and, in a change from most of the A Dal fare, is actually really nice. Hungary weren't in the last contest that Israel hosted in 1999 but I'd honestly sort of believe you if you said this fell through a time warp from a mid to late 90s contest.
Other than that, the biggest scorer in the heats was this metal track which'll probably win. |

Potentially 2 metal tracks in a row? Friendship ended with Finland. Hungary is now my best friend.
Though that acoustic track isn't all bad either. Would allow me to forgive them for Wars For Nothing. |

Joci Pápai wins A Dal and will go to Eurovision for the second time in 3 years!
Not as instant as Origo was but I still really like this! |

Pápai Joci won 'A Dal 2019' with a completely shite song. I feel sick.
Well, it was time for a DNQ, I guess. |

This is decent enough though takes its time to get into it. Surprised to see him going for participation again so soon.

I agree with Adam. This is good but Origo remains the superior song out of the two.

It's not overly exciting but I'm actually pleasantly surprised by this as Joci wasn't someone I was wanting a return from at all. It's a much nicer listen than Origo which I didn't get at all.

Oh this isn't bad at all. And it does the same thing that Origo did and has the hook be the "gypsy" style singing (idk the actual name for it) that transcends across all cultures.

i honestly think this adds absolutely nothing and that it sounds like anyone could have sung it. the only difference is it's in a different language.

Listenable enough I guess, Origo was considerably better though. If this got going sooner than it does, it would a lot better!

I think Papai Joci's new song is not as good as 2017's one. It feels lost in some places. My favorite entry of Hungary can't even progress from the semi-finals which is a big shame though it gets a 9 rating in viewers and is a unique and interesting song by Leander Kills and their Hazagvagyom.
