I’m going to go for FRIENDS but I think Shawn Mendes could easily do it as well.

Louisa is COMING.
Drake's reign is shook. Bryan Adams record is shook. Everyone and everything is shook. |

Something not listed on the poll. In fact i'd say most of the options have now peaked (barring Mr Mendes off course )

Yeah, but at least something will have to go #1 by default once Drake goes to ACR! FRIENDS a little more steam than the rest (except Shawn). That's assuming that Drake doesn't go 59p and increases his sales to avoid ACR for longer than thought. Again I still think that whatever topples him isn't listed in the poll This post has been edited by ElectroBoy: Mar 10 2018, 09:43 AM |

None of them, most of them have peaked, probably the new Shawn Mendes if the track is any good, I'm just hoping for a new Jess Glynne track to drop soon featuring Sam Smith ha, just kidding.

I think possibly Friends, but These Days also has a chance if it holds on for a few more weeks and ACR kicks in.

I'm here for These Days to do it after 7 weeks at #2, purely for that but also for The British Queen of the UK Singles Chart Jess Glynne to score the most #1s, beating the no-hopers Rita Who? and Cheryl What's Her Surname this week?

I think with Shawn Mendes having missed the top 3 (IIRC) let alone number 1 with "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" and "Treat You Better" it's hard to assume he's a likely number 1 challenger automatically. I hope he does have a big number 1 hit again though, so long as the quality is there. Loved "Stitches".

There’s Nothing Holding Me Back was not a lead single There will be more buzz for this single He could challenge for #1 It was as good as a lead single in terms of its availability. It was a brand new single promoted as lead of the repackaged album and was previously unavailable to fans and consumers. |

I think whether Shawn Mendes makes it to #1 or not depends on the song. He's not big enough to debut there, but it could climb if it's got the selling power of 'Stitches'. Impossible to predict it without hearing it.
