It is money well spent Laura , always something to see & do & they do lovely food so you can spend many hours there . They have a section upstairs which has a massive collection of wrought iron which is awesome , fabulous gates, shutters etc, things you would not imagine , I thought it was fab, they run the collection along a corridor so it's looks fantastic , I could have spent many hours in just that section alone . Hope you all enjoy the day Change of plan - not going tomorrow, hubby not well. We'll go next Saturday now. I've been to a few fashion exhibitions there over the years. Always fascinating and always packed. The courtyard in the middle is lovely too isn't it - especially in the summer when you can sit out there. |

It's not cool to compare and I'm not criticising , just flabbergasted - 19,302 copies sold ALL WEEK for - Justin Timberlake's new album.
He's on the Brits next week so maybe it will do better. |

I guess he is also getting older Laura so maybe his fanbase is reducing & the kids these days are not into Justin |

I'd take the sunshine any day. I hate the grey days of winter.

I cannot tell you how much I hate the dark mornings. I usually get up early on a Saturday morning & go out & do some community work around the local area & the last two Saturday mornings have been lovely & bright at around 8am . I am a miserable person in the dark

Have enough of the winter. I like it when I am on vacation for some days, but having to travel to work 80 minutes in the morning when anything is dark and 80 minutes in the evening back when it is dark again is not funny.

Agree. It's not the winter I hate because you can get some gorgeous days but I hate the darkness. However much we all just have to get on with it - it is depressing. But - the evenings are just starting to lighten now. Spring is just around the corner.

Going to and from work in the darkness is a necessity unfortunately. Bring on the light mornings and the wonderful snowdrops.

Really enjoying the Winter Olympics. The British girls did so well in the skeleton yesterday. They're best friends and able to enjoy each other's success. Also really enjoying the presenting with Clare Balding. I think she's doing a really good job with her team. Keeping it lively and interesting.
It's kind of 'go the girls ' at the minute isn't it. |

Clare Balding is great , she comes across on tv as just being like at home having a chat with you , she is very personable , one of the best presenters on tv right now |

I'm so so happy for our figure skates... Evgenia Medvedeva and Alina Zagitova... For me personally Evgenia is the winner of Olympics, so emotional and so tragic thru Anna Karenina music... but Alina is a brave, young and very talented girl. And that's a pleasure that even Canadian girl (she was good as well!) used the Swan Lake theme for her free skating.
Very good Olympics for Russian team even there are almost only young sportsmen perform. Just an additional confirmation the team is strong anyway and these political methods look very funny, cynical and unserious. Sports is always bigger than politics. As Robbie told: 'And here I sit in first class, bollocks IOC, kiss my arse...' Sorry Just happy! This Rob's song is for they both! I agree Better Man, I am delighted the Russian athletes got the chance to perform at the Olympics & to see the young skaters coming through . I always love the Russian ice dance pairs , they sure know how to perform |

and she's 15 Alex - is that true?
Beautiful girl. We took a break from the winter Olympics tonight to watch France v Italy 6 Nations. I'm going out tomorrow when England play so I don't have to listen to my husband shouting at the TV. |
