Singles:
I was wondering earlier today when we'd be getting new music from them!
First single is out June 16th and it's called ''Written In The Scars''. A lyric preview is online now!

How very 'Dark Horse'... (except not as interesting)
Sounds pretty good, it's been far too long since we've had any Script so I wonder what chart impact they'll have (if any)
Doesn't sound as good as their previous stuff on first listen, which is disappointing. Also I'm not sure how much radio support they'll get this time round, they've been around a while and I feel like public interest in them is waning, so I'd be very surprised if they managed to pull off a successful era.
Looks like they are releasing this week on Friday as they are on the R1 Breakfast show on the 14th.
1st single is called 'Rain'. B-Listed by Radio 2.
It's rather tropical and "on trend"... not sure what I think of it. It reminds me of One Republics No Vacancy so maybe with some more listens I'll be hooked but for the moment I'm not fully sold
Yeah, this is very shit.
They really lost it, didn't they? It is a shame as their first album was so good and Danny has a great voice.
Oh I quite like this!
Too generic.
Meh. Not good, but not THAT bad.
Hmm. I love The Script - I've bought all their albums in the past - but can't help but feel a bit underwhelmed by this single on first listen. It sounds so obviously (and certainly going on what Danny has said in interviews today) like they are chasing trends just to stay relevant, chiefly that whole 'tropical' sound that's bizarrely still in vogue, which was never really the point of them. I'll reserve full judgement till the album comes out but right now I prefer their older stuff to this.
It's Ok for what it is. Basically a trend chasing song. But yeah, nowhere near the heights of their first era. </3
This is all colours of beige
Keep it
They peaked with their second album - that was such a great follow up. Third album was ok, fourth was very hit and miss.
This song is pretty generic but it will probably grow on me and I'll enjoy it when I hear it on the radio but it's not something I'd go out of my way to listen to.
A few listens later and I like it in a 6 out of 10 sort of way. It's listenable.
Cannot unhear "Can we just go back to PENIS again" in the first verse

Hearing the album now allready liking Wonders and Arms Open as faves I think
also can someone update the Title
Yeah when it's not my favourite of their albums at all (their 2010 album is their Best, Science and faith ). But Rock The World, Moments, Written In The Scars and freedom Child were the best.
Surprised by how much I liked this! Their best since their debut tbh.
Divided States of America was a standout for me.
Arms Open now confirmed as the second single. Radio 2 have added it to their playlist this week.
Hopefully arms open does manage to chart even if its in the low part of the chart and help the album sell again.
Between the acoustic version and today’s Rodjar remix I think it’s safe to say No Man is an Island is the next single! It sounds so much better acoustic tbh (on Spotify, not sure if it’s on iTunes etc.)
That's cool, it was one of my favourite songs from the album.
