It certainly is the best song Jess Glynne has been involved this year for sure. Agree with you there, Jason.

25TH:

AVICII FT ALOE BLACC- WAKE ME UP

156PTS

At #25, we have my Y/E 2013 '#1 with the late Avicii with his collaboration with Aloe Blacc. It was desperately sad to hear about the death of Avicii, the very talented Swedish DJ who is sorely missed. 'Wake Me Up' one of the my favourite tracks of the decade. Could ever tire of this.

This Is America - One of the best and most important songs of the year. Genius video too.

All The Stars - Such a great collaboration. Kendrick never disappoints.

One Kiss - One of the rare dance hits than I enjoyed this year.

Bed - I like this but it's not their best collaboration.

Don't Matter To Me - It was so good to hear MJ in the charts again. He sounds so good in this.

Pray For Me - Another great song from the Black Panther soundtrack.

Look Alive - JB's verse is the best part of this song.

Fine Line - I just about prefer this collab to My Lover. They are like the new Ja Rule/Ashanti.

Wake Me Up - Rip Avicii, He's certainly a legend of the current generation.

21ST:

AJ TRACEY FT NOT3S- BUTTERFLIES

184PTS

At #21, we have AJ Tracey ft Not3s with 'Butterflies'. This was another massive UK rap tune from 2018. Another collaboration which worked well.

19TH:

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE FT CHRIS STAPLETON- SAY SOMETHING

188PTS

At #19, we have the far superior Justin Timberlake song from the sort of disastrous song that was 'Filthy' probably the worst he has done to this country pop tune from Justin. The last time Justin Timberlake was in EOY Top40 was 2016 with 'Can't Stop The Feeling' although it isn't 'Mirrors' for me.

Hi Dan,

Yes, just I guess hip hop for me just increased for me this year. Dance is still up there. 'Wake Me Up' just it's so sad to see Avicii pass away, such a great talent. 'Wake Me Up' one of my songs of this decade. and 'One Kiss' for me another genius track from Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa.

This countdown isn't really for the non hip-hop fans. Hope there's more in my countdown that you will like.

Thanks.

Still really sad about Avicii but Wake Me Up remains a solid tune. Say Something was another song I actually quite liked this year even though Justin's not usually my thing - but I do like a bit of country!

18TH:

TYGA FT OFFSET- TASTE

192PTS

At #18, probably a song which will have polarised opinions on this from some people on Buzzjack. But this from Tyga his first time as a lead artist in my countdown.

17TH:

BRUNO MARS FT CARDI B- FINESSE (REMIX)

196PTS

At #17, an appearance from Bruno Mars featuring Cardi B her second appearance in this countdown with a remix to 'Finesse'. This was a return to form for Bruno Mars for me. He was my first #1 in what was Mack's Top40 back in 2011.

16TH:

KANYE WEST & LIL PUMP- I LOVE IT

200PTS

Next, we have a controversial choice from Kanye West & Lil Pump, which was premiered at a certain adult website's awards ceremony. Quite liked this from Kanye and Lil Pump. Although it's not up there with the likes of 'Flashing Lights', 'Stronger, 'Gold Digger or 'Power'.

Taste and I Love It are both diabolical sick2.gif

On the other hand, I did quite like Finesse, it's the only song Cardi B's actually improved tongue.gif
