One of the things that we should celebrate about UK TV is that it regularly does comedy very well. Some of the best regarded TV shows/moments of all time are British sitcoms and so, to help celebrate that the latest UK TV and Soaps competition will be to find Buzzjack’s favourite UK sitcom. This list should help you with some of the older big names (https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/top/) but don’t just rely on that list and let other recent and underrated shows pass by!
The first round are the nominations where you can nominate up to 20 UK sitcoms. Those with three or more nominations will progress to the voting stage. The deadline is Sunday 31st July. (just as a side note, ‘Episodes’ can be nominated as it is co-produced in the UK so please nominate x) QUOTE Allo, allo! Hi-De-Hi! I'm Alan Partridge and I'm here to tell you that the UK TV and Soaps forum is Open All Hours for you to nominate your FAVOURITE UK SITCOM. Whether you're a member of The Royle Family, you work in The Office, you're part of The IT Crowd or The Inbetweeners or you're still one of The Young Ones around here, I'm sure you're living The Good Life but make sure to save time to nominate as you have until Sunday 31st July. There's no waiting until the Last of the Summer Wine has gone! It will take two minutes to do so you can submit your nominations at any time of the day, whether it be after you have had your Porridge or after your Friday Night Dinner (before you head down to Phoenix Nights). Make sure you remember which sitcoms contain your favourite Episodes and nominate them as you don't want them to be Outnumbered and be Bottom of the pack. Only Fools and Horses would miss up on this opportunity!

Black Books
Fawlty Towers Father Ted (hopefully this counts, it was produced by a British production company despite being focused on Ireland and an Irish cast) That is all. |

Great idea. This is a difficult one, so hopefully others will nominate some of my more famous favourites.

Nobody better nominate shit like Only Fools!! Dirge.
Oh dear. Sat tryna think of a list. UK comedies absolutely suck balls. Dry, cheesy, boring and playing it safe, calling Americans prudes but then giving out dull prude comedies.
