Ed Sheeran should extend his run of the Top 2 whilst Katy Perry's comeback 'Chained to the Rhythm' will be hoping to complete the Top 3. Popular new releases this week include Anne-Marie's 'Ciao Adios', Axwell Λ Ingrosso's 'I Love You', Jamiroquai's 'Cloud 9' and Sigrid's 'Don't Kill My Vibe'. In the albums, 2017's Critics Choice Award winner Rag'n'Bone Man should easily debut at #1 with his album Human. New contenders for the Top 10 include Devlin's The Devil In, Nines' One Foot Out, Thunder's Rip It Up and The Saturdays' member Una Healy with The Waiting Game. The soundtrack to Fifty Shades Darker is also released this week and should top the compilation chart, with tracks from Nick Jonas & Nicki Minaj, Sia and Corinne Bailey Rae possibly charting in the Top 100 singles. Breakdown of the week - Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted. - Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm. - Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one. - Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed. - Thursday: See Tuesday. Other notes (please read) - You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod). - Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue. - Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. - To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads. |

From Mint Royale:
QUOTE Katy hasn't exactly set the charts alight on downloads, not sure she'll make top 5, certainly won't dethrone Royal-slashee Sheeran.

Surely everyone has those two Ed Sheeran songs by now, maybe his hardcore fans keep on buying the songs, anyway they have just released remixes and acoustic versions of the two songs, so won't be leaving the top 2 anytime soon

Katy will be around 13. It will be a Perfect Illusion style hit but maybe a little bigger. Expect it to peak arooound 8 with the video/ Grammys, well, if it re-peaks, that is.

As some of the songs from the last Album are still in the lower reaches of the chart clearly a lot of fans are still streaming the songs nearly 3 years on, I suggest we set our expectation this will continue with the songs from this Album. |

Woah, biggest sale for a debut album for quite some time, no?
I thought he'd get a 35k-40k opening...I know there's decent hype around him but that's major! |

That's already like three times the sales that last year's BRITS Choice winner Jack Garratt got in one week, good to see that those kinds of sales are still achievable for breakthrough acts.

I expected those sales for Rag'n'Bone Man! So much hype for him. Hopefully he can get some more promo in to get to 100K!

Very impressive sales for Rag 'N' Bone Man, it is clear he is set for huge success, wonder whether he will be able to hold on at the top next week as well (it is Brits week but he should get a boost from that).

Wow at Rag'n'Bone Man! I believe that's more than James Bay's first weeks sales too.
