Georgia Nina Sublatti - Warrior We are having yet another early national final this year, with Georgia announcing theirs will be taking place on January 14th. They have had internal selections in the previous two years, with the last national final winner being 'I'm A Joker' in 2012. QUOTE After a couple of years of internally selecting their entry, Georgia has opted to hold a national final to find their representative for Vienna. The show will take place in Tiblisi on 14 January, and the deadline to submit entries has been set for 20 December. Artists hoping to be the Georgian representative can send their materials along with their CV and a photo to GPB (address: #68 Kostava Street; Tel: 2 409 110). The winner will be selected by a mix of televote and international jury vote. The last Georgian representative to be selected through a national final was Anri Jokhadze, which would become the first Georgian act not to qualify to a final. Last year, however, they Mariko and The Shin, selected internally, suffered the same fate. ESC Xtra Georgia seemed like a potential winning country in the future when entering the likes of 'Shine' and 'One More Day' at the beginning of this decade but they seem to have lost momentum with 'I'm A Joker' and 'Three Minutes To Earth' as well as 'Waterfall' underperforming significantly. I definitely think Georgia can give us a winner in the next few years, but I doubt it will come from a national final. Sofia Nizharadze needs to return - 'Shine' was amazing! |

The 5 songs are here!
Edvard Meison - We Are Freeee That title is horrendous, the song is ok thanks to its modern-sounding production and has potential although the "we are freeeeeeeee"s could get grating pretty quickly. Eter Beriashvili - If Someone Apparently a song rejected from the Belarusian selection. Unfortunately her English accent is quite offputting in places although it's a nice ballad and well sung although it's religious message won't be for everyone. She is very well-known from The Voice of Russia and apparently this song was written by the person behind Axel Hirsoux's 'Mother'... Misha Sulukhia - One And Only Very average and the vocals at the end are quite something and not in a good way. The weakest of the five by far I think. Nina Sublati - Warrior YES this is the best! Apparently the winner of Georgian X Factor, definitely a lot of potential here and a great production and I like the dark feel to the track. And then an ethno-pop dubstep breakdown as well! This needs to win even if it does mean we'll have two 'Warrior's (unless Amber changes her song). Niutone - Run Away It's quite quirky and could be something very good indeed with the right revamp but as it stands at the moment it's just a middle-of-the-road song that doesn't really go anywhere. I'd guess its between Nina and Eter (considering the latter's apparently big fanbase), voting is open now with the result being a 50/50 split with the jury. |

Just wanted to try making something pretty!
Anyway, Georgia need to choose Nina if they want a chance of doing well in Vienna. She's by far the best of the five! |

Georgia snubbing the new Eurovision logo for the old one. Ungrateful.

OK so they're not actually performing the songs?
How pointless. |

I had a feeling it'd all be very Israel 2014 (where Mei just talked about her song) when I saw this was only 40 minutes long and part of another TV show. I'm sure they could have made time for them to just perform on that little stage they are on though!

Listening to this for the first time and it's not bad! A massive improvement on last year's effort anyway.
She reminds me of a cross between Paula Seling and Perrie from Little Mix. |

Two songs called Warrior. From the two nations who compete under some form of a 'George Cross'. Haven't even listened to Malta's one yet but that'll be fun and a bit confusing somewhere down the line.
Sounds okay, but nothing outstanding really. |

That's certainly got a lot of potential. Also the 'two songs called warrior lol' thing.

ESC Forum are running with the rumour that Thomas G:son is involved with the revamp of this! I suppose it wouldn't be too surprising considering he did 'Waterfall' for them.
