Ellie is right there where it is (because it was released today as the other tracks in the list together with Ellie), but the Giorgio Moroder/Kylie collab was already released on the 30th Jan.

I thought the next single was 'Get Ready For It'? There's a video for it too?

It was but from what I heard they changed it...

As far as I'm aware, 'Get Ready for It' is going to be the soundtrack song to a film so perhaps 'Let in the Sun' is being pushed as the official second single.

Posted by: JosephStyles 2nd February 2015, 07:49 PM

The Lucie Silvas EP is actually out on the 9th here, it's only tomorrow in the US, only just found this out.

It would have made more sense to keep 'Get Ready for It' as the second single then, and use the film as extra promotion for the single. Strange decision wacko.gif

Posted by: mr_aly 5th February 2015, 10:39 PM

Cheryl's new song is actually decent by her standards, but I can't see it being anything that big regardless.

There's a single mix which is up for pre-order but the album version is still available, so it's kinda like a Vamps situation with Somebody To You/Oh Cecilia.

The single's been given a drum'n'bass remix for the radio edit in a desperate attempt to get a hit... personally I think the originally was a nice enough song, the remix really doesn't work.

rolleyes.gif I knew there'd be some way to hype an album track up the chart!! Why can't they just be happy to see where she gets too

Of course!

It's the same with all those acts like her, The Saturdays (past tense now), The Vamps etc. If they're left to climb naturally with the post-album singles in this day and age it'll struggle and probably get low top 40 at best so it's the best strategy and it makes sense in terms of acquiring extra exposure/sales if they get a high chart entry.

Omi, AronChupa and Seinabo Sey pushed back again?!? drama.gif I guess that's what happens when radio 1 don't latch on to a song, I just hope they all actually smash instead of doing a Flute

Posted by: Dobbo 7th February 2015, 04:28 PM

All these continental dance tracks (Albatraoz, Cheerleader, Younger) what on earth are these labels playing at? Just release them already! Cheerleader in particular is already charting majoritively on streams so NOW is the best time surely? The other two have pretty much been and gone for me anyway, this really is Flutes all over again.

Posted by: ML Hammer95 7th February 2015, 04:31 PM

I imagine Cheerleader will smash, its starting to build hype over here now.
