Looks like Luis Fonzi, Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber will be occupying the top spot for a 3rd week, the highest new entry should come from Liam Payne (ex-One Direction) with his debut solo single 'Strip That Down' collaborating with Quavo vying for a position inside the top 10. Other new entries from Katy Perry collaborating with Nicki Minaj 'Swish Swish', Camila Cabello 'Crying in the Club', Selena Gomez 'Bad Liar' and Mike Perry, The Vamps & Sabrina Carpenter 'Hands'. Expect new peaks from Disciples, Jonas Blue feat. William Singe and Maggie Lindemann. Could the #1 album change for the third time in a row since Ed Sheeran stop dominating the #1 album chart, LINKIN PARK are chasing a #1 with their brand new studio album 'One More Light'. Other new albums from Erasure 'World Be Gone', Papa Roach 'Crooked Teeth', The Kooks 'The Best of... So Far', Snoop Dogg 'Neva Left' and Rascal Flatts 'Back to Us', with blink-182's re-release of 'California' [Deluxe Edition]. Now brings me to a sad loss in the music industry with the passing of Chris Cornell, best known for his work with Soundgarden and his side projects Audioslave and Temple of the Dog, his albums 'Superunknown' with Soundgarden and 'Audioslave' with Audioslave are due to re-enter the album chart, and he also recorded the James Bond theme 'You Know My Name' for Casino Royale. Minty says the album battle is currently between Linkin Park and Erasure, with blink-182's re-release propelling them back in the top 10, to number 6!

I wasn't sure how well Erasure's new album would do, they'll be happy with top five I think

Really hoping Liam Payne doesn't do well. Such a crap song. I'm not a fan of Harry Styles but at least his is a decent song.

Ed Sheeran will return to Number 1 Album this week.
Rag 'N' Bone Man will probably rise to 2 with Linkin Park settling for 3 (previous Album opened in 2014 with nearly 25k, it will be less this time). |

Are we back in 2001 / 2002 time. Linkin Park, Papa Roach and Blink 182 out this week and new Nickleback coming next month. All we need now is Allien Ant Farm to come back.

Liam will probably debut low top ten, Niall Horan-ish
The song sounds like JC Chasez has just made a comeback with a song from 2003 |

I would be happy if Erasure can stay top 5, but like the last few Pet Shop Boys albums this will enter high and drop fast. Its been a while since Erasure had a top 5 album. Linkin Park will probably be number 1 in the first set of mids but Ed Sheeran will most likely overtake during the week.

The predicted high position for Erasure has surprised me. Their last top 10 album was their "Best Of" release back in 2015. Prior to this, their last top 5 album was I Say I Say I Say back in 1994 which went number 1. Cowboy did however, scrape into the top 10 at number 10 back in 1997. Essentially, they haven't had a top 10 studio album in 10 years so this could be a big turnaround for them.
