Since their return in 2018, Doves have been working on their long-awaited 5th album - the first since 2009's 'Kingdom of Rust'. And it looks like it's not too far away now!
A countdown to 5pm on Thursday (I think  ) is on their website, hopefully that will be the release of the lead single! |

Indeed 'There Goes The Fear' is one of my favourite songs of the noughties! Imagine a indie song like that charting in the top 3 in 2020!

It was crazy how well There goes the Fear did
cos iirc it was only available for 1 day, it was released and deleted the same day, not sure why

Weird to think the last time they dropped new music was around when I first joined BuzzJack!
I'm not familiar with their back catalogue but I remember liking 'Kingdom Of Rust' (the song) a fair bit at the time, this new song is quality as well, so nice to have them back. |

This is very typical for them but I really like it, definitely a welcome return.
A couple of plays in and I think I probably prefer it to Carousels already actually. |
