Help!!!

I forgot my password, and so went to send an email, but I was linked to an old email that I don't use anymore, as I aldo forgot the password to that.

So! Finally, I changed the password of Buzzjack, thanks to autofill, and then changed the email. Then, the site sent a validation email to confirm the new address. However, it newver arrived. I have tried time and time again, ans even tried switching to yet ANOTHER email account, and no validation email arrives.

Now, I try to get the site to re-send the email, and it says there is no member of that name requiring validation! Meanwhile, my members group is validating and I can't shout in the shoutbox! Yesterday, I wanted to reply not yeeet to oike five shouts about emojis, but I couldn't! I assume I also cannot change my username as a validating member.

There is a constant banner at the top of the page, too, that says:

Email Validation Required
We require you to activate your account through the email that was sent out to your email address. Please check the 'Junk' email folder as sometimes our email can wrongly find itself there!

Any advice?

The validating system is temperamental and if you get stuck in it I have to manually get you out. So I'll do that.

Wait!

I changed my email address to a temporary one, and it sent me the rmail. It arrived. I tried to validatw myself, and this time it said,
The error returned was:

Sorry, that member does not have to validate their account. Please double check the data you entered. If this validation isn't recent, it's possible your old account has been removed.

I will change back to my proper one and see if thst works? It looks like validation emails are not going through to my gmail accounts. I don't know if this is the case for everyone?

I've changed it back to my main one on gmail, and sure enough, no validation has been received! I received one on the temp rmail I made, but my account didn't accept the code :')

But yah, gmail is no longer receiving even topic updates etc by email. Looks like gmail doesn't work very well with the site anymore, or at least for me.

It's unfair for me and Meekul not to be able to change our usernames again manually. I know there were issues in the past with the username 'Pus' but I promise I won't ever use that username again.

Michael can go back to members (I'd forgotten that memberrs was the one with the restricted name changing, I thought it might have been another special moderation setting that we'd like to keep him in)

Name changing is a privilege and as all members of the forum will see your username, abusing that privilege and making your name an explicit or disgusting one that causes complaints will ensure that you lose that privilege.

I'm kinda having the same issue as Meekul right now, except with just changing my email and for some reason I can't get a validation email. So i'm now stuck in the validating group instead of genre mod oop.

Some help would be greatly appreciated!
