Yeah she should buy her masters of EMI/Virgin and just release a GH. Re-recording her first two albums will be too expensive for her (get the old producers back, overall costs of recording professionally, etc) for what wont be easy return...
She has been doing a lot of other activity that hopefully covered the costs of releasing her last album. We all know that UK tour of 4 small dates didnt cover it! So it is probably not worth it for her and she always has to negotiate with EMI anyway.
I think she could totally do a GH though, if she does a deal with EMI just for that release. That would probably be a win-win and to be honest it would probably be her best way of making some easy money whilst jumping on her (albeit small) legacy.
Now what she could really do is jump on a new Spice Girls album !! Now that would trully be girl power!
I'd actually go to that with that line up, minus Mark Owen but that could be a toilet break while ge sings his 1 song.

I live in Leeds and am thinking of going always fancied seeing Nile Rodgers anyway. Not bothered about Olly Murs and can't stand Heather Small though. Kaiser Chiefs are on a different day which is a shame as they always put on a great show.

Thanks for sharing. I think the band did its best, but the song really struggles without the other girls in my opinion... It is a bit liveless and flat with just Mel.
Actually, I think the only time I enjoyed a solo Spice doing a Spice song was when Emma did 2 Become 1 on CD:UK back in 2003. Everything else (inc other Emma versions) has been quite lame...
Really wish the girls would do something with a big band when they next return. A one-off TV special with their songs with a big band would SLAP!!!

Well, She kinda did it with her last album. Before the album she lauched a few singles. High Heels was not included for example and Who I Am was out in March.

Coo! She’ll never going to sell tons of record, nor be a streaming queen. If I were her, I’d go fully experimental with the new album, something more about quality than TikTok type of uptempo music. She has lots of connections with big DJs, and people like Hot Chip. I’d love for this record to get something like indie dance / electronica.

Being with Various Artists Management is a good thing for Mel. Their roster is pretty impressive. They have people like Tom Grennan, La Roux, The Libertines.. I really hope she’s releasing a cool new album and she’s not afraid to dare. We all accepted she’s not a #1 chart artists (she already had that with the girls plenty of times and by herself twice), and I think that’s a good reason to put quality first, and forget about super cheesy stuff a la Think About It for things that are worth buying a vinyl or more formats for.

Right choice. Reason and This Time tracks don’t fit, Beautiful Intentions is her European album, and Stages didn’t happen. Glad she included Anymore. Such a cool song. I think Into You and Good Enough would have made a great plus to the setlist.

As I previously said, I have the feeling is due to the lyrics. She seems to be carefree and Who I Am is probably her most honest song (and to me, the one she delivers 100% live).

And that could happen too. The more we get older, the more our voice becomes less flexible. But she carried a whole gig by herself (minus one duet). I have the feeling she just wanted to have fun. If you check her Instagram in the last weeks, you can see she’s being so happy and full of adrenaline because she’s doing what she likes: music and singing live around the world. And people are loving it.

Since the 2019 SW Tour, it really has been so nice to see her fully 'fit' into her own skin. Prior to that, her solo endeavours were patchy, and random. Everything she does now seems to bring her so much consistent joy, and that's clearly resonating with the crowds that see her live at these events.

I already have travel plans elsewhere in Australia in early November, so I won't be attending.
Darwin is a surprise choice for a tour location. It is a small city located in Northern Australia.

Anyway their reply is: (to my name): "Thank you for your love and your comment, my dear fan, please send me a direct message 🥂❤️"
My comment (before their reply) was: " No, Hobart. I am unavailable anyway due to study commitments."
Surely, that reply post is not from the real Melanie C. - Should I ignore the replied comment, or send this person a message?
I noticed recently after I posted a comment on the Spice Girls official Facebook page (a greeting for Emma's birthday), that soon after I received a reaction (love heart) from someone using the name Victoria Beckham (76 likes, 77 followers). - But there was no blue circle icon with a white tick to verify that poster's identity.
I thought celebrities using social media accounts usually don't post or send comments or emoji reactions to their fans comments on posts.

It has just been announced that Melanie will be coming back to Sweden for the first time in five years. 🇸🇪
She will be performing live at Skärgårdsfest in Karlskrona on August 2nd.
you would like to think from all these appearances that her albums will pick up a couple of sales on the back of it although I think generally greatest hits are better for picking up any casual sales like this.
