Currently still awaiting confirmation of the final scoreboard for this contest (i.e. what deductions are being given and if FARC's votes are found or not) but shall try and have this updated quickly again after that - these results will have tightened up the top end of the YTD considerably though, with Ramrynia and Cor Lupus both now emerging as major threats to Ultraviolenceland's lead (which they still hang onto but not by much...)

That's the percentage taking into account that they were subject to the 33% deduction for non-voting (so if they'd got an 18 from every voting country they'd have got only 784 points, while the figure was 1,152 for everyone else). CupcakKe's 'LGBT' is slightly out of order in the list for the same reason. x |

BJSC 96 update
YTD by points - Ultraviolenceland qualified by the skin of their teeth this month and finished near the bottom of the final, but that's still enough for them to defend their title here for another month. Their lead over #2 is slashed from 158 points to just 31 though, with Ramrynia climbing 4-2 after another top 10 finish (they're the only country with a 100% top 20 record in 2017 thus far). Cor Lupus' silver medal in BJSC 96 propels them up 7-3, while Espen drop a place to fourth but also gain on Ultraviolenceland, now within 100 points of them. All to play for. South Danaelanda have a bit of a drop from 2nd to 5th. - Unovia are a non-mover at #6 with another top 20 hit under their belt. Hendinia move up 9-7, leapfrogging Trifoski who hold in 8th - last month Hendinia were 2 points behind Trifoski, now they are 2 points ahead. Aeroche fall 5-9, but are still only 200 points off the win so they are never to be counted out with four contests left to go this year. Altyr Muunilinst continue their ascent, a top 3 finish in BJSC 96 moves them into the YTD top 10 for the first time this year, up 13-10. #00274E leave the top 10 following their deduction-caused DNQ, dropping 10-15. - St. Burbia remain waiting in 11th place. Jadakissnia climb a couple of places to 12th. Both countries, along with Altyr, crossed the 1,000 points mark for the year this month. Despite a near bottom 10 finish in the final, Oslol have a decent climb from 17th to 13th, while FARC are also up one to #14 despite a heavy deduction in the BJSC 96 final. République d'Ashton and Kluminican Republic break into the top 20, up 22-17 and 21-19 respectively following top 10 finishes. Yehesi climb a place to #18. Just outside the top 20, Ojnoj zoom 33-21 following a third straight top 10 hit, and top 10s for Dobago and FSR Rontvia help them climb 28-22 and 29-24 respectively, while Aelandor's breakout top 5 hit pushes them up 39-26. BJSC 97 update
YTD by points - All change at the top this month as Ultraviolenceland exit the top spot in dramatic fashion after leading for the first six contests of the year. Ramrynia ease into the gold medal position, climbing 2-1 and opening up a nice lead of their own, 171 points ahead of their closest rival, following a top three finish for Tigertown (which continues their run as the only country with 100% top 20 hits this year). Cor Lupus inch up 3-2, nearly being caught again by a resurgent South Danaelanda who recover 5-3 after picking up another top 10 hit this month. Also following another top 10 hit, Trifoski climb to their highest position of the year, up 8-4, while Aeroche also return to the top 5, climbing 9-5 to reverse their drop from last month after also coming 5th in this contest. They're only 58 points behind second place. - Ultraviolenceland missed out on a place in the final this time by losing a tiebreak, with disastrous consequences as it leads them to fall 1-6 on the YTD. Hendinia nearly catch up with them as well, but remain at #7. Altyr Muunilinst didn't have their biggest hit ever this time but it was enough to see them continue their slow rise, up 10-8, as they overtake two stationary targets, Espen and Unovia who both DNQed this time and subsequently fall 4-9 and 6-10 respectively. - Jadakissnia edge up a place to 11th, only 12 points off kicking Unovia from the top 10, and swapping places with St. Burbia. République d'Ashton, after years with no top 10 hit, have now had two in a row and three in the year to date, and now move up 17-13, passing the 1,000 points mark, as do 6 other countries: Pupok (climbing 16-14), FSR Rontvia (rocketing 24-15 after their first top 5 hit of the year) and Yehesi, Kluminican Republic, D'yermak'er and Ojnoj who all climb 2 places each in the 16th to 19th place slots. Dobago also climb two places to #20 and Taahino are up two to #21, with DNQs/non-entries for Oslol, FARC and #00274E seeing them all plummet out of the top 20. The top two countries in BJSC 97 both see rises into the top 30, with runners-up Terra Avium climbing 38-27, remaining just ahead of newly crowned winners (in a landslide) Quintessa who rush 43-28. Daehun hit the top 10 again with their auto-qualifier and also push into the top 30, up 34-30. These rises leave poor brave Persephonia stuck climbing just one place to #32. Also just look how much higher Tartford, myself and Jadakissnia are!! As usual, I wish these were the real results. x |
